I tend to think the whole "gay marriage" issue is just a wedge to divide people, used by the right wingers and the media to get folks off the real topic of the day, like stealing the wealth of the nation, or getting us involved in a nonsensical illegal occupation. That said it does not minimize the fact that people ought to be given the freedom and opportunity to live as they want. The legal bindings of two individuals gay or straight should be honored. It should be a simple procedure in every state of the Union and then be done with it. Do you really need a "church" to say you are together??
The bill o'rielys of the world are merely following orders from the oligarchy to use this as a wedge issue to distract many from the REAL issues of the day. They use the islamo-fascist-xhristians as mere puppets to further drive the issue, even though some could care less, its a firestorm that gets kicked up. Prime example, bill-o could probably care less as indicated in his quote, but when the islamo-fascist-xhristians, rant and rave, (his base) he changes his mind. He has no one else who listens to his garbage, he needs to appease them.
It's a sick world we live in when we let this happen. But it's a sicker world when we let hypocrites rule the day.

What's the big deal? This guy like all of the other talking heads on both the right and the left is just an entertainer. These entertainers make money by what they say and will say anything to drive there viewership numbers or any ratings. The problem is that the average person forgets this and they get caught up in there feeding frenzy.

If you read the article he never actually says he is for gay marriage, just that he doesn't care what people do behind closed doors, its their business. I think he owuld not care about gay marriage but the problem is its impedes on the rights of others and will not stand for that. When other people try to force their values on you, you would be mad too.

Do you realize how contradictory your statements are? You don't see how you are pushing your values on everyone else? If gay people can get married it won't change your life in any way, if they can't get married because of you and others who feel the way you do then their life situation is affected.

This is Bill O'Reilly we're talking about...is anyone really shocked by anything he does? The guy is just out to argue with anyone and everyone over ANYTHING. I think it was MAD TV that did a skit of him arguing over whether or not the state of Kansas existed and I think that describes him perfectly.
Oh, and just one little pet peeve: One thing Bill WAS right in saying is that he "COULDN'T care less" not "Could care less." If you "could care less" on an issue it means you do care about it, and have the ability to care less about it. If you "couldn't" care less, then you just don't care about it. So in conclusion. I couldn't care less what Bill O'Reilly has to say about anything.

i think the world should just focus on more pressing matters, like human traffacing, parents locking their children up for the rest of their lives and abusing them, the chemicals in our food et cetera. If two persons, who love each other, want to marry: DO IT. There are serialkillers/rapers/abusers/psychopats everywhere in america, but everyone is worrying about homosexuals? sheesh. love is love!!

I am constantly surprised that everyone jumps on O'Reilly or Miss California for their oppisotion to gay marriage and they never mention the fact that their "messiah" President Barack Obama has the same position. It also never ceases to amaze me that the very people who preach tolerance for the rights of the LGBT community are so intolerant of those with viewpoints that differ ffrom their own. I think Perez is just as much of a Blowhard as O'Rielly and I could care less what either one of them has to say! Someone like Perez, who's comments for Miss California show his intolerance for people who dont share his opinion is just as bad as the intolerance of those who dont believe in the rights of others.

first of all, the issue is equality for all. yes the bible says this and that. who cares. you can believe whatever your church and religion tells you. but you cannot deny any american the right to be married. what happened to the seperation of church and government. obama has not spoken up on the issue recently, but i hope that he is for equality too. oh and carrie is an idiot and so is bill!! ha ha
