Well, "officials" figures in the US have been denying it for some months now, while actual people are experiencing it here in the US.

None of the economic indicators in the US is accurate any more. They have so cooked the books over the last eight years, that we're pretty much just flying by the seat of our pants now.
All you have to do is look at on-the-ground indicators -- like 10,000 people showing up to apply for 350 WalMart jobs or food pantries running out of food -- to tell you what's going on.
