AMERICAblog: Giuliani: McCain isn't qualified to be president

  • seohio · 1 year ago
I heard that interview with Rotten Rudy and it caught my attention as well because I knew Grandpa Simpson has no executive experience. I'm glad someone else caught it and posted the interview.

Maybe John will tell us he was an executive pow

"It seems to be a very technical speech about being a Democrat, supporting (Obama) as a Democrat, but she never answered the big question (on whether he was ready)," Republican former New York City mayor and unsuccessful presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani told CNN.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Rudy was Mayor when his city suffered the worst attack ever on US soil.

Not only did he do nothing to stop it, but he made it worse by locating the city's response headquarters in the city's most prominent terrorist target.

How'd this idiot end up a hero instead of run out of town on a rail?
  • jescot · 1 year ago
He is not excatly Mr Popular in NYC anymore just outside NY where people don't know better- They remember what he did before 9/11 and the months after.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
wait a minute... I thought he was 'one of the first responders'???

This is a misrepresentation of what Rudy said Rudy was not talking about McCain, he was talking about Obama. Hillary never confronted the issue regarding O's readyiness to be president and commander-in-chief. Her husband had better do it tonight or we are cooked. Bill's earlier response that no one is ready to be president will not do. I honestly think Hillary is still running for president.
  • kraftysue · 1 year ago
And Brian Williams didn't challenge Rudy ONE TIME. Rudy said Obama had never crossed the aisle to work with Repubs. He said Obama is the most liberal senator and Biden is the 3rd most liberal. Why do these guys get the big bucks for letting these talking points go unchallenged? I think they just are trying to fill time but it makes me so angry I threw a pillow at the tv and shouted a cuss word at Williams.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
hmm... correct me if I'm wrong... how the hell would rudi know what went on in the Senate??

he was never there, never elected to anything other than gov.

When Republicans get their feelers all "hurt" and express outrage when we don't give McCrazy enough sympathy for being a POW, please remind them how they DESTROYED ALL CHANCES of getting any kind of sympathy for Republican Military service when they made fun of John Kerry's Purple Hearts. As a veteran, I want EVERY REPUBLICAN to relive these photos at their last convention. They can't ask Democrats to RESPECT Republican military service when their entire convention degraded every veteran by passing out Purple Heart band-aids:

    http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y70/TayTayTay/...

The truth hurts. Republicans don't respect military service unless it is from one of their own. The Democratic equivalent would be to put people in cages on the convention floor and poke them with sticks, while giggling, and shouting "TORTURE JOHN MCCAIN!" Democrats have more RESPECT for military service, so they refuse to disrespect our military and John McCain for his service. UNLIKE THE DISREGARD AND DISRESPECT FOR OUR TROOPS REPUBLICANS HAVE CONSISTENTLY SHOWN.

I've yet to see Democrats call into question McCain's POW service. We feel sorry for him but I'm not going to vote for him because he got captured and tortured. Especially since Republicans have overturned the Geneva Conventions. By doing so, the Republican Chickenhawks have made it more likely our service men will experience the same kind of torture John McCain had to experience. As a VETERAN, why would I support that? Does John McCain WANT veterans to have to experience what he did in Viet Nam? Also, Republicans almost NEVER support better VA benefits until Democrats PASS IT and then they claim credit for it. They consistently vote against helping veterans and their families. They vote AGAINST body armor and they've destroyed our Geneva Conventions. McSame needs to just SHUT UP about his POW status unless he is willing to change parties, and admit how WRONG Republicans have been on veterans issues.

As a veteran, I'm voting to SUPPORT THE TROOPS! I'm voting for Obama!!!

As the wife of a retired Navy veteran, who spent the first 18 years of her marriage going wherever the Navy sent us, I say a hearty AMEN! I too support the troops- I want them to come home in one piece, and have lifetime care when they don't. Anyone who can't see that Obama, not McSame, is the answer needs to have their head examined.

Tammy Duckworth was just interviewed by Keith Olbermann on MSNBC and Duckworth said if people want to support the troops, just remember that the troops are behind Obama and he is getting a LOT more financial support from "the troops on the ground" than McCrazy.

She reminded everyone to remember how McCain didn't support the new GI Bill but then wanted to claim credit for its passage. Republicans are just empty slogans like "support the troops!" but can't be counted on to support them when they come home. GOP believes "support the troops" means killing them in misguided disastrous wars they start.

Typical, typical! Damn! How can anybody with more than a third grade education could possibly vote for a Republican ever. Republicans today have got to be the most ignorant group of people on Earth or they think we are. Geez. I'm sending this to everybody and publication I can think of.
