Time for all the bailout rah-rahs to take a bow and admit a stunning success. Look and see what a waste of $700,000,000,000 taxpayers dollars brings. Thank God for Congress, Bush and Paulson. What a fucking joke!

exactly tbhull.. the bailout did squat now, and a year from now. forget the bs 'it will take time'.. the credit markets are done.. and no amount can fix that now, not without complete weimer republic levels , zimbabwe levels, of mass printing money. the bailout was a securitizing of the stolen wealth for the top 1% of the top 1%. last ditch effort to takes the spoils and get the f**k out. the momentum of failure for years and years is too strong to be overcome. The Deregulated Credit default swap scam has done us in.

CEOs and Bush embezzled the entire $700 billion as Bush intended. Of course, this was predictable Friday morning before the House approved the bill and before Bush signed it. We knew it was simpy $700 billion in fraud. That is what Bush has been about since 2001 but also what the Damnocrats have been since 2006 victory.

Has anyone checked to see how far Air Force One is from Paraguay? They should be landing about now if they haven't already landed. Is Air Force One capable of carrying $700 billion in cash or do they need a cargo plane to transport that much money? But, $700 billion in American currency won't be worth more than a rat's nest thanks to Bush.

"Despite Bernanke’s assurances to the contrary, these bailouts mean tremendous inflation of the money supply. The U.S. can no longer avoid hyperinflation - it is here. The effects can hardly be overstated when the reserve currency of the world is debased so rapidly. Empires disintegrate and social upheaval occurs. Dollar depreciation is not apparent to the masses yet, but once the realization occurs, the social effect will be explosive. I believe this is why a U.S. Army brigade from the 3rd Infantry Division has been given orders to patrol America “to help with civil unrest and crowd control." http://www.financialsense.com/fsu/editorials/ba...

It truly is a shame. My mother has a lot of money and try as I might, I couldn't get her to buy gold. She called me crazy. It drove me crazy that she keeps currency in safes. I tried to get her to convert it into gold, but she is a child of the fifties. She kept saying crap like, "honey, this stuff happens before ever election..."
Its scary... hyper inflatation here we come. I told my mother, one day you are gonna open that safe, and all you will have in there is just... green paper.

I just saw John McCain LIVE and he is a very disturbed, angry man. He DOES NOT deserve to be President! He all but called Obama the N word! It was horrendous, and the Republican Storm Troopers and LIARS SQUAD behind him were eating it up. McCain's supporters are a very disturbed group of people led by a very angry, old, confused and RACIST little man.

A couple of dumbasses on MSNBC saying the negative advertising is on both sides. Let's see, Keating 5 which is a fact versus Ayeres (where is the connection?) Will McMelanoma blow up tomorrow? Seeing him on CNN he looks ready to go nuts. That town hall debate is going to be good, not for gramps so much.
ProgressiveTroll

Yeah, our local faux news station basically did the same thing. They started with Obama and his Keating 5 ad and then with McCain's Ayres' ad. Like McCain did his ad in response to Obama's. This shit is maddening.

POLITO.COM pundits were saying the same crap. Saying BOTH candidates went negative without explaining the Obama - Biden campaign kept this attack ad in the dark JUST IN CASE McCain went negative. Its called DEFENSE and I'm glad Democrats are playing it.

While the US sub-prime issues are 'global' in that they were bundled and sold, European banks are failing because of their own stupidity. For example, according to this week's Economist magazine, while the US banks loaned 0.96 for every dollar deposited (average), the European banks loan 1.40 euros for every euro deposited (average). How could those lending practices ever be be sustained?
Oh and the testimony today shows that AT THE SAME TIME Lehman's executives were begging the US to bail them out, they were also steering millions to executives in bonuses, etc.
the market is going to close above 10,000 now... LMAO talk about how fucking obvious they are at manipulating this shit. Its sick. truely sick. The markets arent even vegas anymore..they are freaking rigged so bad, an average layman sees it.. what a joke.

Will the pundits like POLITO.COM stop saying Obama went negative. He.DID.not. until McShame started comparing him to Ayers. Obama just had a negative attack READY in case Republicans pulled their same old negative campaigning to scare people. That wasn't going negative. That was Obama defending himself against dishonorable attacks.
I'm referring to pundits trying to be "balanced" and claiming both candidates went negative. NO, McCain - Palin went negative and Obama - Biden were PREPARED and launched a defensive attack.

``We're in the eye of the hurricane right now,'' said Rogelio Gallegos, who helps manage about $325 million at brokerage Actinver SA in Mexico City. Shares in Mexico fell as the growth outlook for the U.S., which buys about 80 percent of exports, declined, Gallegos said. Grupo Mexico fell 16 percent to 8.23 pesos. Mexichem dropped 19 percent to 15.19 pesos. Simec declined 11 percent to 27.81 pesos. Argentina's Merval dropped 10 percent, Colombia's IGBC slipped 4.9 percent and Peru's Lima General index declined 8.8 percent. Gee whatever happened to the good old days when CEOS and Bank Presidents jumped out of windows, I know, now they have golden parachutes. As far as McLame goes, he's got nothing but that fake "oval office mock up" in the house he has for sale. The guy is pathetic, he instigates hatred and his moose woman cohort does too. That's all these people have, lies, hatred, and they laugh all the way to the bank. These two can relate to you and me like a dog relates to a cat, the only thing is common is were the same species. You see, if McLame loses his home, no problem he's got nine more! He's had government healthcare since well dirt, Palin and her husband forgot to claim all that money she billed Alaska for while Gov. for "housing", because she chose not to live in the State Capitol, hope the I.R.S. shows as much compassion for her and the first dude as they would for you and me! This is insanity run amok, get your popcorn folks, it's gonna be a long long winter!
