AMERICAblog: GOP activist: "No matter who wins in November, we lose."

  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
See, this is what I don't get. What are republicans "fearful of or worried about"? They're fearful they can't wreck the country even further or something?
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
I mean, gawddaym, how bad can they make it???
  • brilliantatbreakfast · 1 year ago
I hate to get all tinfoilish here, but don't we still have issues with voting machines and corrupt voting officials? I almost wonder if the Republicans are trying to lull us into a false sense of complacency.

OK, I just got off the phone with Oliver Stone and he found your idea "very interesting"...

For the record, Babar is not a former-Republican. He is a crypto-Republican.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Yeah, but most people don't understand that underlying sinister thing about them.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Sheesh, I should ask how much worse they can make it. The republicans are going to bomb Iran any day now...

The major disadvanatge you are going to have is that the same voters who are voteing for you to make change are not going to be willing to pay the price for this change.
We all know that the rich are not going to pay. They did not get rich by paying taxes. So the working middle class is going to be forced to pay for all the new spending programs. Same as it ever was!
The more that things change the more they stay the same.
Hope is make beleave and make beleave is for little children and mental paticents.
Reality is what there is and reality sucks and it always has.
On the plus side I think that the Oboma tax increses on the middle class will help make american merrages more sound.
Most unhealthy merrage, almost over merrage, or devorced people I have spoken with said that they were happy when they were struggleing.
The new tax increses will defintely help with that.
I just hope that Soc Security holds out at least intill my babies are grown.
I may just get 17 or 16 years of SS survivors benifits.
At least I will get something out of the system before it is completly bust...

RepubliCONs are stupid. They might be CONs but they are stupid.

How the heck do they think they can continue in their jobs when the last 7 years all they did was be a rubber stamp for bush crime family.

I hope all those who stole from our treasury, killed our young soldiers by voting for the illegal Iraq war, and stepped on our US constitution not only get booted out of their positions but also get more bad Karma the rest of their lives.

You know when the GOP is in trouble: they start hunting for Osama Bin Laden. McCain needs more than a surprise, he needs a miracle.....

And I plan to get dead in your ass until you do.

Friend of mine has been telling this one.

McCain was giving a speech to a group at a retirement home when an old man at the back of the room shouted out, "Bullshit", at one of McCain's comments.

An angered McCain yelled back at the man, "Do you know who I am??"

The man replied, "No. But if you ask the nurse she'll be able to tell you who you are."

    Bada-boom.

Thanks, I'll be here all week. Tip your wait staff and don't forget to try the veal.

Oh, and if Obama wins with 49.998% of the popular vote, the dittomonkeys can claim for the next four years that he has no mandate, just like they did with Bill Clinton.
