    Every time there is a problem. The solution? TAX IT Put 1 dollar in and get 50 cents back, repeat until you have an over bloated government system that relies on tax dollars just to keep it from going bankrupt. The cleanest most efficient "Green" energy is nuclear energy. Oil is cheap, coal is cheap, and how do you think you fuel electric cars? Yup, burn coal. And how do you fuel alternative fuel vehicles? Yup.. petroleum based fertilizers that are needed to grown corn and soybeans to produce this alleged cheap and clean fuel.

    Nuclear energy is a wonderful technology. Except for the waste problem. And the vast amounts of cold water it requires. And the terrorist potential. And the fact that they take more energy to run than they actually create.

    But hey, if it makes an anti-government ideologue happy, and perpetuates his wrong-headed idea of what the truth is, let's do it. Long Live Reagan!

    Let's make this incredibly simple. We can only get so much fossil fuel out of the earth. These resources are not sustainable over the long term, and we need to quit thinking in 10- and 20-year increments. Actual "green" technologies have no such limits. Or, to be technical, we can expect the sun not to die for a good million years or so, just as the wind keeps on blowing and water keeps flowing. Until then, conservatives keep submitting oxymorons like "clean coal."

    Good grief -- these guys are more irrelevant than a one-trick pony.

    They remind me of that one character on King of the Hill who always mumbled and you could never figure out what he was saying.

    Silly. If they believed we were polluting the world, which of course they don't, they'd pay for it with tax cuts.

    It's called greed. Their financial base is fossil fuels. Don't give a damn about the environment, global warming or end of life on earth as temperatures hit several hundred degrees when the methane under the oceans boils off into the atmosphere. So what? They will be rich, rich, rich, dead, but rich. Such greedy, stupid assos.
