    SOOOOO very glad that I bike for eveything I can.
    Big problem with that is I cant bike my wife to the hospital.
    Or by twins to were ever they need to go.
    But if you are looking for a good investment.
    You can start with a good road bike.
    Mine paid for itself in a year.
    When I buy a new one in a year it will likely pay for itself in two months...

    I ride a Giant OCR. It is a very fine bicycle. I have been riding for 3 years now. The problem I have now is I ride so much that I have had to increase my food intake to about 3000cal a day. Food is my fuel and it's price are almost as bad as gas prices is.
    You just can't win.
    As soon as you build a better mousetrap. Somebody builds a better mouse. ;>)

    You know that unidentified estranged wife of a Reno doctor that the governor of Nevada is not having an affair with?

    Well, during one month last year he exchanged 850 text messages with her phone from his official state phone, at 15 cents per.

    Actually -- considering that according to my calculations, the good citizens of Nevada footed a bill of $127 that month for the text messages alone (not including the regular monthly charges) all so that the governor could have a little illicit fun at the public's expense -- you could be more right than you know!

    The very idea the GOP governor used government funds to conduct his affair proves Republicans aren't satisfied with proving their disdain for their "sanctity of marriage" propaganda, but they now want to charge the taxpayers for their hypocritical stand to protect "traditional marriage."
