  • lucky hussein · 11 months ago
why stop with the lavish $? let's find out how much of that was 'made in the usa'... how many of the total products in those stores are 'made in the usa'... how many are made in sweatshops and then get a 10000% mark up to make rich people feel 'special'...
bring back the eisenhower era of 90% tax for those making 3.5 million or more (adjusted for inflation, in today's $)..
bring on the class wars, I have my g-damn torch and pitchfork ready...

Nothing about those blessed Rethuglicons is cheap except their compassionate conservatism.
  • SouthernYankee · 11 months ago
We don't need anymore compassionate conservatism. Its killing the american people.
  • RevDrBillyBob · 11 months ago
This information explains why she always looked so hot.
  • ThingsComeUndone · 11 months ago
So what is the new total amount?
  • SouthernYankee · 11 months ago
    Around $150,000 or so.
  • ThingsComeUndone · 11 months ago
Is Sarah reporting this as a gift on her taxes because I have seen her on TV recently she has not given back those clothes. And how can she give back makeup and haircare?
  • Elliot · 11 months ago
I didn't realize that Wasilla mullet costed so much.
  • LeftCoastOracle · 11 months ago
I suspect it "costed" as much as your education.
  • bumpkis · 11 months ago
I bet Newt is tagging that....
  • SouthernYankee · 11 months ago
Well its about time for him to change wives, isn't it?
  • Jay · 11 months ago
    Sarah Palin is a VIPER!
  • mattycakes · 11 months ago
Does this mean that she also "gave back" her Victoria Secret's
bras and panties? And, she had the nerve to swear up and down that she bought nothing, that it was all bought for her by aides. What a LIAR!
  • anarchy · 11 months ago
Caribou Barbie needs an ass-load of accessories.

hot?? eeew!! I wouldn't fuck her with YOUR dick.

    LOL.
  • SouthernYankee · 11 months ago
    Lets be alittle civil.
  • LeftCoastOracle · 11 months ago
You know, this kind of crap gives liberals a bad name.
  • larry · 11 months ago
The Republican Tammy Faye! Well oddly enough both from the charismatic Assembly of God faith...must be a thing with those girls. Love to fluff and puff and lots of making up and hair..praise the lord, lots of hair! Lots of fab showy threads.....lookin gooooooddddd !
  • SouthernYankee · 11 months ago
Tammy didn't hate gays. She worked with gay actors.
  • SouthernYankee · 11 months ago
What a waste of money. They should have used to money to educate the woman. No amount of money is going to help her because she is ugly on the inside.
  • Ben Dover · 11 months ago
Caribou Barbie could have used a belt sander and turned out more attractive. Home Depot, $29.95, with a coupon.
There is no amount of help that would cover the ugliness of her beliefs.
No matter what designer label, no amount of cut-n-curl, no matter how many layers of foundation, her inner ugliness is always evident.

Sarah got stuff from Victoria's Secret???? I want to see pictures.
  • devlzadvocate · 11 months ago
I still don't get what this woman has to offer. I don't get it. I don't see it. I look at her and see absolutely nothing. Honestly. Just a blank piece of paper. I don't understand the fuss. She doesn't anger, upset me. Nor do I like her. I feel nothing when I look at her.
  • JustAnOldLady · 11 months ago
Are these the same Republicans who went nuts over John Edwards $300 haircut????
  • LeftoverBeefcake · 11 months ago
She must be damn ugly to require over $100,000 worth of fashion and makeup work. Don't the episodes of "Extreme Makeover" cost less than this to produce...?
  • LeftCoastOracle · 11 months ago
You know, this story is getting old. Now if you want to do a new version of this crap look into how much money Sen. Clinton spent on hair and make up during her campaign and who paid for it. Then compare the two. Now that would be interesting and it might be very enlightening.

Failing that give it a rest unless you can come up with something the guys spent money on like haircuts, manicures, facials, etc. out of their campaign funds.
  • disintegrator · 11 months ago
First of all, can we stop discussing Clothinggate already? It's way over.

Secondly, while we ARE discussing it, remember John Edwards' haircut? Hah!
  • RitornaVincitor · 11 months ago
That's odd. Prostitutes spend far less on fashion stylists, and yet they look far better than Palin.
  • Bostonian_Queer_in_Dallas · 11 months ago
There is a great line in "Sordid Lives" when the drag queen Brother Boy, turns on his shrink, after all this homo-repair therapy and says..."Well it ain'ta workin'"...

Girlfriend, dump the homphobic shit and get yourself a coupla real good faggots to do that styling because that punk girl ainta workin'...you are pissin' yo money down the toilet if you are spending that kinda cash. Ya look like shit, girlfriend.

Oh Mary it takes a fairy.
  • Bostonian_Queer_in_Dallas · 11 months ago
One part of me wishes we would just bury this girl into the annals of a footnote of a blip of American political history. And the other part of me ADORES making her more of a joke now than Tina did. I shall rot in Hell for such thoughts!
  • Wesinoregon · 11 months ago
$55,000 to paint a couple of bruises on her cheeks and black rings around her eyes followed by a powder puff overlay? I could have done that!
  • Bluestocking · 11 months ago
Someone from the RNC should be required to explain in exactly what way purchases from Victoria's Secret were believed to be necessary to Sarah Palin's public image as a Vice Presidential candidate. After all, the overwhelming majority of items from that store are not the kind which most women leave visible to the general public! I find it hard to believe that Palin, in her role as governor, has been so poor that she couldn't even afford to buy underwear for herself. Even if Sarah Palin had been in absolutely dire need of new underwear and the expense could have been justified, there *are* perfectly serviceable brands such as Bali and Warner's which are less expensive...

Oh, wait...I forgot! What was I thinking? This is the GOP we're talking about -- in their view, only the common rank and file wear underwear by Bali and Warner's!
  • ron071 · 11 months ago
The absurdity of Sarah Palin will be recorded in political history as the 2008 extreme in Republican political behavior. All Democrats, liberals and progressives ought be rooting for a Palin re-run. Even the Republicans are not stupid enough to allow this. ? ? ? ? Aren't they?????
  • Dave Ullman · 11 months ago
As they say, it's great work if you can get it
  • Mag7 · 11 months ago
So now... what's the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Apparently nothing, until one adds 100K worth of hairdoo and some Neiman Marcus threads. Sarah Palin is a damn clown.
