AMERICAblog: GOP's New Leader, Sarah Palin, is campaigning in Georgia today for Chambliss

What's the Big Deal ? She has been anointed by the Rev. Dr. Jesus, after all. . . . . And her daughter will give birth later this month; she and Levi Johnston, the father, are "considering" getting married, uh, next Summer: Oh, YOU BETCHA.

Can't wait to hear what BS she spouts today about stopping the Big Bad Socialists from sending checks to citizens from a windfall profits tax on oil companies, oh wait, SHE did that!

from Alaska Dispatch via Sullivan:
....it’s clear that, insofar as the cover of People magazine is concerned, Alaska’s governor-girl is on it to stay.
So for those Americans tired of listening to Sarah’s discordant Matanuska-Susitna Valley Girl syntax and her bubbly expressions of near total ignorance about almost every subject about which she’s asked, my advice is: get used to it. Because the show’s just starting.
Good to know there are some in AK with their heads on straight...

Atlanta is known for being 'a pearl in a bowl of grits'.
When I resided in Atlanta, the only time I left the city was to go to the airport. Anything outside the perimeter was an alternate universe.

Replace the A in Saxby with an E, and you have a stripper name. I can't look at the mans name and not laugh.

I think the Saxby Chambliss was a car that was made before 1912, wasn't it?
Caribou Barbie, what a piece of work. the Rethugs can have her - they belong together as BFF, you betcha.
if ignorance is bliss she's the happiest girl in the whole USA (my apologies to Donna Fargo for that one)

Am so sick of the media's love of Palin. They push her down our throats constantly. If she is ALL the pubs have to offer, than they are in bad shape. Course, it will be a continuation of their tactics of sleeze, hate, division, with total lack of integrity and honor. So if they continue on this road, she fits right in.

Sarah Palin, sit down and shut the hell up!http://margaretandhelen.wordpress.com/2008/11/2... *Note: Beware of long comment section, now over 700. Reminds me of the old ABlog days...'When Trolls Attack'.

Oh, good! I marvel at how the Republicans have embraced the Vagina Monologues and set up a pagent queen to babble at the little people while in the smoke-filled back room, oil barons ruminate.

What a life she leads. Doesn't have to take care of her children, gets months at a time off work and gets free designer clothes to boot.

Who paid for Palin's clothes THIS time? Chambliss? Paling won't even give radio interviews unless she is given designer clothes. Seeing Palin still prancing around is like watching "Pimp My Governor".

News programs bought her clothes as well? Has this EVER happened with candidates in the past? I don't recall ever hearing this. UN-FARKING BELIEVE-ABLE. GOP=the party of FRAUD and CORRUPTION, and always at TAXPAYER EXPENSE.

It would seem that Alaskans would be sick and tired of their "governor" spending so much time promoting her own agenda down here in the lower 48 and finding out exactly how much she doesn't know about everything. Of course, coming from a state that has put up with the corrupt practices of Stevens, Young and probably others, including Palin, I don't really have much hope they'll send her packing next election.
Just wonder what kinds of turnouts she's going to have...metro Atlanta shouldn't be very welcoming, I'd think. Oh wait...the white flighters will love her.

the GOP is so screwed...half detest Palin and half adore her... she should be tied around their necks because she will drag them down.

Too bad we all can't have a great job such as being Gov. of Alaska. Great benefits, great pay, paid for traveling to and sleeping in your own house, and only having to show up at the office one day out of every 90.
And the clothes, my Gawd, the clothes...

the corrupt corporatist chickenhawk Chambliss versus a Georgia military hero and true patriot ready to serve the people. hmm, such a tough decision... Maybe Bible Spice will help folks decide.

"It would seem that Alaskans would be sick and tired of their "governor" spending so much time promoting her own agenda down here in the lower 48 and finding out exactly how much she doesn't know about everything. " And the cost of these trips is being covered by the Alaskan tax payers. All that money could cover the expense of those costly Rape Kits!

Has Caribou Barbie ever answered the allegations of her cheap tawdry sexual trysts with the "First Dude's" former business partner? Just wondering...
Older_Wiser
Anything about either her or McBush's sexual adventures was deemed taboo by the press. Simply because--they couldn't find anything similar for Obama, I'm sure.

But these are her people. This is her base. The Chambliss voters are the same people who love Palin -- racist, homophobic thugs who believe any piece of crap that appears on Fox News. This is who she appeals to and who he appeals to.

Looks like my county is the last stop......she'll draw a pretty good crowd here....Gwinnett County is very red (as in neck).
Saxby had Rudy last week....and that was pretty much of a bust....over the long week end the rethuglican robo calls here were coming every few hours.....mostly from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the RNC.....
Also had Martin robo calls from Bill Clinton, Max Cleland, and the first lady elect!
Lots of money being spent here!!

I think Lady Sarah is beginning to like the weather in the southern states a tad more than the chill in her home state of Alaska. People of Alaska, aren't there some problems (not to mention a large family), that she should be at home tending???

I think it is great. Happy she is the new leader of the GOP? You betcha!!! deeeelighted. I think the MSM needs to put her up as the new GOP leader more not less after all...look at what she has accomplished for the GOP..... But the best is going to be when the clash of the titans really begins....Sarah, Mitt, and Mike. As for the Louisiana governor or as I like to call him Obama Lite or faux Barack...the regional party that is the GOP will never put him forward as a nominee although he is an interesting PR move for them. As for Saxby...he just wants to be Jesse...Helms that is...but he does represent the real post McCain GOP.

She's pretty laughable now, but I don't discount the possibility that she will learn enough lines in 4-8 years to look almost credible. She may turn out to be Bozo The Clown, but it's remotely possible that she will end up being the Martin Sheen character in The Dead Zone.

Oh goody, the brainless twit is gracing the lower 48 with her presence. Barf.
Hey Mitt and Mike and Bobby. This chick is kicking your asses. She owns you guys. What are you going to do? She's young. She's hot. Your base finds complete sentences an insult. She's down with that. How are you going to fight back? You guys better get a lot hotter or check it in and start helping RepubCo Sister Sarah. Maybe she'll let you guys be in her cabinet. Maybe not.

Not for nothing, but the deranged, evangelical, ignorant cracker vote that permeates much of Georgia and the deep South is pretty much her only wheelhouse. Why not grub for attention in Real America, she probably needs the ego boost after most of Fake America looked at her, laughed with a snort, and voted overwhelmingly for the Muslim? It's not like she has a state to run.
How much experience can running Alaska give you if you never actually seem to need to be there to run it?
But Palin's role as campaign closer said as much about her political fortunes as it did the national party. Still a veritable star in the GOP ranks, her draw seemed somewhat limited on the stump. While MSNBC carried the roughly 15-minute speech in full, CNN cut out only a few minutes in and FOX News didn't even go to the affair.
Fux News didn't even cover her 15 minutes? Wowser.

Has anyone else in GA noticed this?
I was standing by my TV decorating the Christmas tree last night when a Republican Senatorial Committee commercial came on attacking Jim Martin/Barack Obama on immigration. The commercial features pictures of drivers licenses in the background over Jim Martin's face. The top two rows of pictures were all blonde women with the exception of one dark haired man on the top row that looked an awful lot like Mohammed Atta. If I hadn't been standing so close to the TV I probably would never have noticed.

Palin is a BIMBO! It shows the IQ level of Chamblis, who chose her to campaign for him. Chamblis is just another Bush-type jerk, who would do anything to get elected.
