AMERICAblog: Gray voters: "If we ran a household like they ran their company, you'd be bankrupt in five months"

Not to mention "graying" voters! Like the manly Mr. Biscuitbarrel, who's still shelling out for tuitions and sees retiring at sixty-five as a pipe dream!

Say buh-bye, Caribou Barbie...when the GI Generation is switching to the skinny Negro, you KNOW you're fucked. My parents' generation is full of bigots...homophobes, racists, anti this anti that. If they are even SNIFFING around at voting for Obama, I think a bloodbath is imminent. Buh Bye Caribou Barbie and Mister Magoo.

When you don't put people first, this kind of talk and their kind of situations is what you get. You get bastardized healthcare. You get absurd prices for prescriptions, and forced reliance upon the "property bubble" just to live your daily life.
We don't vote for our best interests, we vote for republicans for president. More often than democrats.
The founding fathers created a work of Political Revolution at the time of the Industrial Revolution. The latter was easier to do, so it won.

I'm a grey voter -- but I look young :)
Yesterday, I voted in my 12th presidential election and I can honestly say that I have never voted for anyone with as much enthusiasm as I did for Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
And, quite frankly, that surprised even me.
It was so good not to have to vote for the lesser of two evils -- but for someone I thought was the better person.

Faced with a country laid waste by disaster, McCain is "Fight! Fight! Fight!", but Obama is more "Build. Build. Build."
Calm, constructive, restorative.

My parents, at 91 and 76, are scheduled to go to the meeting with Conoco-Phillips where they'll be told their retiree health insurance will no longer be available. My secretary's mother has been in the hospital for a month and is watching the bills mount every day now that her GM retiree insurance vanished.
I don't have sufficient words to express my contempt and disgust for Republicans and their economic theories. What I'm hearing / seeing is a whole bunch of folks waking up to the fact that conservative economic theories are a failure. End of story.
