they need to keep hitting McCain on his lifestyle as the average family is being overwhelmed by Bushonian inflation

So where can I buy my t-shirt that says "When McCain left one of his 10 houses in a 9-car motorcade to get a capuccino at Starbucks yesterday, was he wearing his $520 shoes? And was his $273,000 a year butler with him?"

The speech was very good. It's a nice contrast to see Obama who is calm cool and collected when giving speeches, and then Biden who is equally cool and collected but can get downright fire-y when he needs to, his big booming voice attacking McSame was great. The 7 tables comment was awesome.
I love how the MSM is spinning it (some of them anyway) : "Obama was supposed to be a candidate of change but he picked an insider". I'm sure if he had picked an 'outsider', we'd be hearing "Obama just doesn't have the experience and he picked someone with equally little experience".
Obama is just damned if he does and damned if he doesn't in the media....and McSame gets away with so much...but hopefully that tide will soon be turning.

Yeah, but Joe is no insider. Amazing! The guy rides the Amtrack home every night. Obama can take the hits, and with Joe on the ticket, the rumble is about to begin.

Team Obama should just keep Biden in the Mid-Atlantic and Rust Belt from the convention to the election.
Just treat it like he's running for governor of Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana with maybe he and Obama tag teaming in Florida and N.C.

This event was mind blowing. Biden hit a home run and it appears he'sll be on the attack 24/7. This is what we've been missing for a long time. Biden will keep reminding people what Mc"REaltor" is really about. And, it won't be personal. He's worked with the man for a long time.

I DVR'd it becaue I knew there were going to be some zingers. Not totally crazy about Joe (his mouth gets him into a lot of trouble) and wouldn't vote for him by himself...but he brings what is needed to the ticket. it is a wise choice and he compliments Obama well. just caught a bit of RolandMartin on CNN as they are warming up for the convention....he made a good point that Obama needs to continue to get his story out nationwide as far as the "I'm just like you, I just paid off my student loans, I have little kids, ONE mortgage, etc." message.
On the other hand, we need an attacker like Joe to be the meanie and call Rove/McCain on their crap.

oh hell no i would not vote for McCain. I'm referring to the primaries. He was about 3rd or fourth down on my list.
It was Obama, Hillary, Biden.....in that order, on my list.
I would rather not vote at all if I had to vote republican. Just thinking about accidentally voting republican makes me itch.

I'm OK with Biden. While he is not what I consider 'fresh' or inspires 'change' in my mind, he will be a great campaigner, and I like his life story and vast international knowledge. OT, something that has been in the back of my mind regarding McCain's wealth, or should I say, his wife's. It occurs to me that the source of all that wealth, the massive sales of liquor, is not the most virtuous of businesses. Considering how alcohol can negatively affect our society, one would think that the christian conservatives would find McCain's wealth ill-gotten. Being a beer drinker myself, I am certainly not condemning the business of selling beer. It is the subtle moral tone in which McCain has portrayed himself, and the questionable financial sources that propelled him into politics that I find interesting.

I like Biden.
Which Kitchen table out of the seven kitchens John McCain owns will John McCain eat at? (So true)
How about the Keating Five? What about John McCain cheating on Cindy McCain with that woman on his 2000 campaign bus? How about John McCain protecting his friend Reed from the Indian casino rip off affair? John McCain has a lot questions to answer. Let the questioning begin!

Amanda Carpenter, a McCain supporter, says that choosing Biden is just another example of Obama's bad judgment and weakness. Who does she think she's kidding? McCain and everybody in that camp are scared shitless! Tell me, how it is possible for someone who demonstrates an above average intellect, wins the primary election to become the presumptive nominee for president with over 18 million votes, travels throughout the Middle East and Europe and is well received by our military personnel, prime ministers, presidents, the West-bank, a King, and all Berlin, is still considered inexperience, undefined, unknown, untested, not ready to be president, not trustworthy and demonstrates poor judgment time and time again, become president? The McCain camp got it twisted. It's JOHN Mc-Can't-draw-a-crowd-on-a-piece-of-paper CAIN that is inexperience, undefined, unknown, not ready to be president, not trustworthy and demonstrates poor judgment time and time again and he lies. The media knows this true. For instance, I heard Suzanne Mulveaux stated that Obama really needs to work really hard to gain the Hispanic vote. Are you kidding me? As an African American growing up in pretty mixed community in San Francisco, we vote democratic. MSM recites, daily, all the work Obama needs to do in order to get the vote in the South, the hills of Virginia, folks with less than a 5th grade education and various religious groups. Hummm. Sounds like McCain's base to me. I'm just saying.

Meanwhile, back at the (CNN) ranch, I learned that there was something mighty "creepy" about it all -- those hideous gaffes!
"The next President of the United States, Joe Biden!" (Guffaw!)
“My wife Jill, who you’ll meet soon, is drop dead gorgeous!” (Gasp!)
“My wife Jill, who you’ll meet soon, she also has her doctorate degree, which is a problem.” (Gasp! Gasp! Gasp! Retch!)
"Barack Ameri..." (Shameful!)
Eww, I'm sooooooo bummed was CNN's basic message. Soooooo creeepy! The RNC apparently has put up a Biden gaffe clock on their website, but wouldn't it just be better for CNN to have it on one end of their ticker?
