Love lilies of the valley, but they don't grow well in the hot weather we get in NC, although I did have a few at my old house in the shade. I have lots and lots of "real" lilies, though. The yellow and orange kind grow alongside the road here, wild and beautiful.

such a sweet smelling little flower is lily of the valley. but you don't want it in your garden unless have it contained. the littlle devil will spread via its roots and you will wish you never thought so highly of it. kinda like the republican party.
