SEIU is the biggest bunch of phonies the world has ever seen. They formed a "health care reform" coalition with Walmart. They thought Arnie-care in California was a good idea. They have done more than any other group to undermine the progressive singlepayer movement. Want to really do something for singlepayer healthcare? Stay away from the authoritarian cultist SEIU, and work with the real fighters, the California Nurses Association. CNA doesn't compromise with corporate CEOs and insurance companies. I used to work for SEIU, so I know from first hand experience how they lie shamelessly and cut deals with corporations to undermine worker rights. All they care about is dues money and political power for dictator Andy Stern, who is crushing democracy and trusteeing dissident local unions.
