I'm all for leaving things to young people. They're the FUTURE. They're smart, they leave off the bullshit. They haven't gotten cynical.

But why does the pic have "Shell" on the credit? Please say they haven't sold out. PLEASE.

The SC says, go ahead and kill 'em (lethal injection case)...although Stevens voted with the majority, since the death penalty itself has already ruled on it, he did say he is against it.

    So, the fight isn't over...

That's funny! They'll be paid big money by the boys in black to turn over the patent.

Well, since Bush is now posturing himself as someone who wants to do something for climate change (yeah, right...as if anyone who hasn't spent the last six-odd years would ever actually *believe* that) -- it seems to me that something like this would be one hell of a good place to start. Unfortunately, we all know how he's going to react -- something so fuel-efficient that it gets 2,000 miles to the gallon might cut into oil company profits, and we can't possibly have that!! The steadily-rising cost of oil couldn't have anything whatsoever to do with the possibility that the world could be approaching -- or perhaps already passed -- the Hubbert Peak of oil production, making development of technology like this a critical priority. No, of course not...don't be silly!
