AMERICAblog: Hillary doesn't think Pennsylvania voters are bitter. She thinks they're stupid.

  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
I hope her supporters are wise enough to see her, for who she really is.
Is this the way she will act as President. She was so vocal in her stand against guns, and now she is pretending to be this "cowgirl"? All gung ho about hunting.

I cannot believe that she has flip flopped in her position, and how desperate she must be to tell such (Bosnia like) tales about hunting.
So who was there when she fired that shot?
Perhaps she is confusing her hunting trip with Bosnia.
Perhaps she out to go hunting with a republican friend, Cheney.

Now we know who the sniper is. Hillary is not the victim of the sniper attack. She is the perpetrator.

I do not want this woman to be president.
I do not want John McCain to be president.
How can I get her to stop what she is doing now?

    Good post.

    Impeccably researched and annotated.

(And I thought you were just goofing off in Europe while we were left to carry the heavy load.)

Oh jeez, Geraldo is on Fox now defending Obama's comments. Geraldo 'he just didn't say it right, but he spoke the truth'. What is this country coming to when Hillary appears on Fox and with Scaife, and people on Fox defend Obama and CNN attacks Obama? Anyone see the huge list of PA newspapers endorsing Obama?
Now Hillary is duck hunting and doing shots (no pun intended) in a bar?
Am I dreaming? Is this real?
  • nicho · 1 year ago
"As I told you, my dad taught me how to shoot behind our cottage,” she said. “I have gone hunting. I am not a hunter. But I have gone hunting."

As someone once explained to me: All you have to do is suck one cock and for the rest of your life, you're a cocksucker.

Hillary is getting more surreal by the day. I am still incensed that she claims she came from a "working class" family. hat is sheer BS. In the 60's Hillary lived in a well do to suburb of Chicago, Park Ridge. I think it is still a nice suburb but during her years growing there, it was considered above average. She went to an an ivy league school after high school. Either she has a "funny" definition of "working class" or she is totally out of touch with reality.

Now this gun thing! Does she honestly think that while the press salivates over the word "bitter" she can say anything and get away with it.? Obviously, she does

Then there are the pictures of her chugging booze on Huffington Post. (I understand they have taken them down per Clinton's request. Why?) Just like her politics, she did it but doesn't want anyone to know she did it.

    .
Leave the gun slinging to Annie, Hillary. You know more about hunting for pant suits at Saks Fifth Avenue than wrestling up some grub for the dinner table.

"Now, maybe Hillary's telling the truth." Maybe? You mean your not sure? Accompanying your post with a photoshopped image is really childish, especially after the brouhaha you created a few weeks ago over (the non-existent) ObamaImageGate. Former First Ladies (especially Dem ones) deserve to be treated with some minor level of respect.
  • DCinDC · 1 year ago
1st I want to say I think Obama is right. People are bitter! They are bitter about their loss of economic oppertunities.

Hillary needs to fire her whole staff. These people are idiots and she is a fool for listening to them!
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
I think people EARN respect. They may EXPECT respect but they generally earn it from being genuine people and respecting other people, EX Frist Lady or not, she has not earned my respect.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
"Now, maybe Hillary's telling the truth." Maybe? You mean your not sure?

Hmmmm, If it walks like a duck, and lies like a duck.....

Sorry the Walrus.... Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...shame on me....
Hillary DOES NTO have a track record of being upfront with her statements..

Actually, I think the pic matches her recent statements ..... sort of doesn't go along from her previous statements which John has C L E A R L Y noted.

If you want more of the same Vote for McCain!

McCain will really make the country bitter!

We could then call McCain and Bush the Bitter Brothers!
  • kevinbgoode · 1 year ago
So did Hillary take Chelsea out behind the White House, or Camp David, and teach her how to shoot a gun at an early age? After all, if she's part of the culture, surely she has done everything possible to set an example to preserving a tradition.

She is taking Obama's words so out of context now as to frame them as anti-traditional rural families - a disgusting notion. At this point, I'd favor some kind of constitutional amendment that would disqualify anyone from public office the first time they lie. . .which would alleviate most of the posturing bullshit in our nation's capitol.
  • kevinbgoode · 1 year ago
Christ....Hillary is turning into the Democratic Party's own Mitt Romney.

Polling trends in PA: Clinton peaked around the end of March, now losing ground. Obama closing, trending about 6 points behind.

In NC, Clinton's efforts to play the outrage card are falling flat.

When is James Carville going to apologize for calling Pennsylvanians racists?

Ok....I'm no gun expert, but that rifle looks like an antique. Is it a museum piece borrowed as a prop? Or did she drop by someone's pickup truck gunrack and shoot her way through an attacking flock of ducks to get to the speaker's podium?

The longer this campaign goes on, the more likely that Hills may just get booted out of the Senate.

It takes a lot to get New Yorkers to vote the bastards out, but if she actually convinces people that she's pro-gun, there may be enough distaste from her other dirty tactics that we might just do it.

Suprised? No, not when they are still enacting the Civil War in Penn each year.

White tailed deer need to be reduced in numbers all over the East coast, though. Deer hunters do a good service in rural Pa. Over population can be very cruel in the winter when animals starve. Venison is delicious, deer hunting feeds rural families well if they have a freezer. It is a delicious cultural ritual, but cant take the place of jobs.

I think I've had it with the Obamistas. Hillary is NOT the devil incarnate and Obama IS a Politician. the First President I voted for was Lyndon Johnson. He wasn't inspiring, But he got more things done than Kennedy ever could. Sure he screwed up on Vietnam Should have never listened to the Generals. But I still think my vote was correct.
I've become tired of all the attacks on Hillary Clinton. I was a middle middle class kid who went to an Ivy League school ( the School district gave me a scholarship) I actually hunted twice in my teen years but would't have a gun in my house today. Every Politician says dumb things.
the Obamanation is becoming an Abomination to me. I never voted Republican in my life. But If You keep this up I may just stay home in November. I mean, I survived 8 yeers of Bush. Can anyone be worse??
  • mario · 1 year ago
    Mush57,

You're absolutely correct: LBJ got more done in his first 100 days in office in 1965 than JFK ever did in his 1000 days. Beacause of the way he died, JFK has been so overly-hyped, it's ridiculous.

I care about actual legislative results and accomplishments, not about who's inspirational or charismatic.

I was just watching ABC News.

Hillary was at the microphone outside somewhere and a reporter ASKED Hillary, "When was the last time you shot a gun"

Her answer was something like....That's not the topic right now....

Does someone know the answer she gave?
  • Andrew A. Gill · 1 year ago
Hillary Clinton said Sunday a query about the last time she fired a gun or attended church services "is not a relevant question in this debate” over Barack Obama’s recent comments on small town Americans.

“We can answer that some other time,” Clinton said at a press conference held in a working class neighborhood here. “This is about what people feel is being said about them. I went to church on Easter. I mean, so?”

    So she's a Christmas/Easter Christian?
  • GaLiberal · 1 year ago
Clinton is showing just how low she will go to win. She looks more and more like an opportunistic b!tch. This latest effort channeling Charleston Heston (one less gun nut wacko in the world) is just obscene. They say a politician commits a gaffe only when they tell the truth. Obama must have told a big truth because it sure got everyone's attention. Now Clinton tries to make some cheap political points. I'll vote Democrat, but it's beginning to look like McCain has got a lock on the Presidency for the next four years. Well, at least it's not Dick Cheney.
  • GaLiberal · 1 year ago
Whoops. Should be Charlton Heston. I blame my spell checker.
  • nsr · 1 year ago
he got more things done than Kennedy ever could.
Yeah, imagine getting his head blown off like that. Lazy Bastard.
  • osage · 1 year ago
The minute the Clintons realized tObama was actually winning, they became two petty mean-spirited children hastening their own demise. Staying in the race with no reasonable expectation of winning was their first failing. Attacking Obama and making themselves look like desperate losers was their second. Now they seem like two kamikaze pilots trying to sink the Democratic ship of state. Frankly, I think they'd sell their souls to the devil for the presidency......and then try and renege on the deal.

Someone needs to tell Hillary the pandering is getting out of hand, and its VERY unattractive to the average, BITTER voter.

Am I a bitter voter? DAMN RIGHT I AM and there are a LOT of us out there.

Billary has absolutely no chance to be elected to anything more than dog catcher. She has the highest negatives of any candidate in history. I'm not always a big admirer of Bob Shrum but I agree totally when he rightly says, "Obama is not running for sociologist-in-chief."

For God's sake, at least he can tell the difference between a Sunni and Shi'ite and hasn't lied about being fired upon by snipers in Bosnia.

    dear NSR:
making snotty comments about the Kennedy assassination doesn't actually get you any points. I still remember where I was when I heard he was shot. But that doesn't change the facts. I always felt that Kennedy achieved a greater Mystique Because he was shot.
Johnson still did more for Americans than Kennedy . He is the reason the bigots in the south switched from Hating Republicans (lincoln) to being solid Republican.
  • nsr · 1 year ago
    I'm not after points.

Saying that Johnson got more done than Kennedy as if you're suggesting he was a more effective president is bogus. The fact that he was in office nearly twice as long has more to do with it. And the south's jump to the GOP started the minute Harry S Truman integrated the Army. Strom Thurmond walked out of the party in 1948. And it took a book by Kevin Philips to wake the GOP up to its opportunity-- not the Civil Rights Act.
  • Clive · 1 year ago
That is the wonderful thing about Hills, she is everything to everyone, so long as the money is right or she gets the job. However, whatever you do, don't call her a "w#$%e". When SHE says it, it is empowering and joyous but when the other guy lets out a whisper based on sociological fact, he gets a "I'm not bitter" pin made in his honor. Oh and John, it isn't just the people of Pennsylvania who she thinks are stupid.
  • nsr · 1 year ago
One thing JFK tried to do that Johnson wouldn't touch was drive organized crime out of American life. Bobby Kennedy, as Attorney General, was going to have the Justice Dept launch an investigation of mob control of Las Vegas in 1964.

Johnson, on the other hand, made sure his friends at Brown and Root raked in the bucks in Vietnam. B&R became KBR, which was bought by Halliburton, which is now part of the $10 billion/month ripoff in Iraq. So, I guess that part of LBJ's legacy survives.
  • nicho · 1 year ago
mush57 1 hour ago I mean, I survived 8 yeers of Bush. Can anyone be worse??

    Short answer: Absolutely.

    Medium answer: Supreme court appointments.

Long answer: John McCain is the answer to a fascist's dreams. They will keep him drugged in the Awful Office while they put the finishing touches on the fascist takeover of the country.
  • John Aravosis · 1 year ago
Guys, the pic is fake, i made it. Come on, that's the famous Charlton Heston pic (well, he's posed that way repeatedly). I mean she's wearing a necktie :-)
  • KISSman · 1 year ago
Well, it wouldn't surprise me if she started wearing a necktie after she's become Mrs. Beerswilling Hunter practically overnight.
  • pcvirginiabeach · 1 year ago
It is what I have been saying all along. The parsed wording and bizzare childhood hunting memories Hillary is using in order to portray her as a strong supporter of gun rights is simply not backed up by her record. Hillary has been one of the strongest voices for gun control in the Senate. She supports federal licensing and registration of all firearms, she oposses concealed carry... her latest attempt to somehow paint herself as a Second Amendment loving hunter is ... well... just nuts. I think she has jumped the shark.. I really do.
