AMERICAblog: Hillary says Obama can't take the heat, she's got him on the run now! Exclusive Video!

I don't think the former First Lady quite understands the idea of "standing up under scrutiny." She talks and talks about "fighting" and "standing up" and it is apparent that to her, that means acting petulant and defiant, no matter what is going on. We've just had eight years of that sort of idiocy with Bush.
Her husband, the former President, is just as clueless at this juncture. His remarks about politics being a "contact sport" indicate an aging, confused man who, despite his denials at the time, obviously couldn't distinguish between his role as leader of the free world and the solicitor of blowjobs from interns in a blue dress. I hate to say this, President Clinton - but the latter is the contact sport.
My concern with the Clintons at this point is that they appear to be trivializing the very office they are seeking to occupy - and that means they really don't get the level of frustration and anger resonating among the American people.

Obama draws largest crowd of his campaign to Philly's Independence Park
Associated Press
PHILADELPHIA - Barack Obama was greeted by the largest crowd of his campaign Friday night in Philadelphia. Some 35,000 people jammed into Independence Park to see the Democratic presidential candidate, four days before this state's crucial April 22 primary.
Frank Friel, director of security at the Independence Visitor Center, made the official estimate.
The crowd exceed the 30,000 who greeted Obama and Oprah Winfrey in December in Columbia, S.C.
Obama told the crowd the United States is at a crucial moment in its history, much like what the founding fathers faced in Philadelphia.
"It was over 200 years ago that a group of patriots gathered in this city to do something that no one in the world believed they could do," Obama said. "After years of a government that didn't listen to them, or speak for them, or represent their hopes and their dreams, a few humble colonists came to Philadelphia to declare their independence from the tyranny of the British throne."
The Illinois senator called Democratic rival Hillary Rodham Clinton a "tenacious" opponent but said it was time to move beyond the politics of the 1990s.
"Her message comes down to this: We can't really change the say-anything, do-anything, special interest-driven game in Washington, so we might as well choose a candidate who really knows how to play it," Obama said.
35,000 in Philly to see Obama. That is how to defeat the evil one.

There is this weird dynamic where the Clinton campaign and the Corporate media take anything said about Obama, by his friends, by others, or by his supporters as something Obama actually said or supports.
If they would just look at what he himself is saying they would not have much to dissagree on except who should sit in the oval office in January '09. So, they have to continually manufacture these political distractions.
Obama cant take the heat, Obama complaining about the 'hard' questions? Hell no. They just do not get it.
I admit, it took me a while to 'get' the message of a new kind of politics with Obama. Because he is changing the political campaign rulebook in a good way I realised Obama is the one who 'gets it'.

The Obama campaign should find a youtube of her crying before the NH Primary.
She couldn't take the stress. Guess those 8 years in the White House really didn't prepare her all that well .......as she's been claiming the last two days.

Clinton knows the odds of her making it to the White House this election, she also knows the odds of Obama winning a second term if he does even a mediocre job in his first. She understands that three terms by the same party is a LONG LONG shot. If she can't win in 08 she must be able to run in 2012. Her best odds are if McStain is elected and this is why she has spent her time sabotaging Obama. She like Bill, is motivated by personal power not what the country needs. The people who believe in her are sincere, but those who see through her are just as sincere in their loathing of what she represents.
Clinton may be flailing around, but she could also be hurting the likely Democratic nominee in the process. The longer this plays out the more likely that is to happen. For example: She brought up Ayers during the Wednesday debate, and the GOP is going to run with that. Thanks Clinton!
Not only that, but she continues to trash Democrats, voters, her would-be supporters such as MoveOn, and the "little" states. While she endorses McCain and borrows GOP talking points.
I really do hope this ends after the Pennsylvania votes are taken.

Nancy Pelois is a "political coward" - Shirley Golub, for Congress '08.
Just a thought but sometimes people have better things to do with their time than answer questions like "Does you pastor love America" or "why don't you wear a flag pin?"

Obama's big advantage was that Hillary was the 'inevitable" candidate. This meant that all the top Democratic political consultants - the ones that repeatedly collect outrageous paychecks to lose us elections - signed on with Hillary.
Obama couldn't lose with that advantage...

Check this out. Injured Iraqi Soldier receives "consolation prize" of appearing on "Deal or No Deal" because he happens to think of Dubya as his personal hero - savior of the world. Wow, I'm not saying the guy doesn't deserve to be on the show but what a bunch of P.R. bullshit. I guess its better to just believe George W. Bush is some kind of hero for creating that "incubator of terrorism" that was written about in that most recent report on Iraq by a famously neutral reporting agency. Better yet, if the administration wants people to change their minds about him why doesn't he appear on the Colbert Report instead of a canned "good luck" speech to one of his worshippers? What a joke.
This whole P.R. stunt reminds me of injured Nazi German soldiers thanking Hitler for the opportunity to serve and get injured in his army. I betcha for every Kobes there are far more bitter soldiers who have learned the truth about how President Bush mismanaged the war, and getting the troops the armor and vehicles they needed to keep them from sustaining the brutal injuries they have suffered.

Its sad, really. Hil seems to be suffering from serial psychotic episodes. Lashing out in her annoying schoolmarm tone of voice, she accuses her opponent of the things of which SHE is guilty, thus believing this will cause the ignorant electorate not to notice HER glaring faults. She has been ill-served by her overpaid consultants, thinking the same old political moves and tricks from the 90's will work in the very different world and times of the 21st century. She has been led into believing that these little "misstatements" like the Bosnia trip and the Hospital disaster wont be researched by the working press: did some one of her "trusted" advisors assure her that there were no picture or video of the little girl with flowers? Did they assure her that this latest "secret" video would never see the light of impartial day? DId anyone ever ask her why she was so anxious to abandon her constituents in the state of New York? They reelected her once, but I doubt they will do so again. She has brought it all on herself with her greed and egotism and constant attempts at self-aggradizment. Shes been standing in the toilet and the whole campaign has been her reaching up and pulling the flush chain. She and Bill are circling the bowel on their way down the drain and most people will say good riddance. In the end we see them both for what they are: dirty white trash; no matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, its still a pig!
