Obama admin's OPM, headed by a gay man, reportedly blocks lesbian from getting health benefits
How does the fact that she couldn't operate a gas station coffee machine help with health care, Iraq, the credit collapse, veterans' issues, the climate, gas prices, the economy, or anything other substantive matter? I'm not a Hillary supporter, but I don't care if she couldn't operate the machine or not. I also don't care that she hasn't pumped her own gas in years; which of the candidates HAS hopped out to fill his/her tank in the memorable past?
This is a non-issue and not what we should be concentrating on when it comes to choosing a president. I really don't care who would be more fun to have a beer with because it's not going to happen anyway. Let's concentrate on, and make the candidates concentrate on, the real issues.
atta girl, Paddy.
now it's backfired. fairly simple.
you'd think Hillary and the wingers would stop doing those silly, stupid things because they always backfire.
Good god. How old is your mother? Hill is 60 I think - I'm 59 and I do know how to get coffee out of a coffee machine - and a lot of other "regular people" tasks. If you are talking about Hill's generation, you are barking up the wrong tree! Maybe MY mother's generation might have trouble with a coffee machine.
I am an Obama supporter and this video is a perfect example of what he wants to change about the "gotcha" politics. This video shows us nothing yet it gets all the attention rather than a speech Obama or Hillary might make today. I don't care if Obama or Hillary can operate a coffee machine. I don't care if Obama can bowl. Bowling and coffee won't end the war or get us health care or fund research into alternative fuels.
Payback is a java!
Also wondering if she'll get a 6" or a 12" sub?
A 12"er would sure look testicularly fortitudinal...

I'm trying to figure out how this matters...

you mniss the POINT
she took a CARAVAN of gas guzzling SUVs for a photo op on SAVING ENERGY and high gas PRICES

Actually, your point is another topic altogether. John's original post is saying that she's out of touch because she couldn't operate the coffee machine. If we were talking about the irony of her motocade sucking up gallons of gas while she tries to tell us that she's concerned about gas prices, that would make a much more on-the-point and interesting story.
The fact that she's unfamiliar with gas station coffee makers is supposed to equate with her being out of touch. I have no doubt that she's out of touch with the majority of people in this country, but the story is just a red herring. This is not the kind of thing that matters in the end. I'm a plain ole working class guy and I probably wouldn't know how to work the damn machine either since I don't get beverages out of gas stations coffee machines.
Let's DO talk about her caravan of gas guzzlers while she discusses a gas tax holiday that will never ever make it out of committee in Congress, but is being used as a political carrot to woo voters. Let's ask her what she's going to do to strengthen the value of the dollar as a way to help lower the cost of crude oil, which will (hopefully) lower the cost of gas. Let's talk about a real story.
Clinton = Bush
Obama is about uniting people and healing the rifts between Democrats and Republicans. I don't think he would approve of such hostility and anger. I think that type of rage is what he rebuked in Rev. Wright.
Kerry, who now seems to have grown some balls, lost the last election because grandma Mary Cahill wouldn't fight back.
Jemarcus, you are a political wimp.

Whereas I can't stand Hillary any longer myself, I would NEVER go to Drudge for anything other than a STD shot!
Please, you can find REAL information (not gossip or made up nonsense) about those you want to hear about in much better company. Expand your repertoire and look up other alternatives.
.
The funny part about the video is that Hillary presses the same button several times, hoping for a different result. We've all done it, but it's still funny to watch. Monkey press blue switch! No peanut comes out! Monkey press blue switch several more times, hoping for peanut each time!
I do that every time I wait for an elevator. I think it's call "el-accelleration" and I'm completely convinced it makes it run faster!
I wonder if the machine could take all of the pushing and shaking that would occur...

Actually it was Bob Shrum who advised John Kerry NOT to fight back against the Swift Boaters.
.
i thought she was gonna kick the machine or shoot it with her rifle or something...and nothing happens...
this makes me want to buy a diesel car...

But I do know how to pump gas and check the dipsticks, etc. My dad didn't care that he had daughters - no driver's ed until we could master the gas pump, change a flat tire and check fluids.
That poor Clinton woman, her stint as a barista just isn't working out. I bet she's feeling oppressed. In honor of May Day, she should enjoy a rousing chorus of the Internationale, uniting the world in song
---
Instead... she's singing a different song.
Like I Care - Helmet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpqCuFTDHDE
I can't believe that they let her wander around a gas station without a special ed helmet. I'm sure she doesn't know how to pump gas either.
I get sticker shock every time I drive up to the gas pumps, too. It was 12 cents higher than the time before I got gas and just a few short weeks ago it was 40 cents cheaper than now. Who would have believed it costs over $30 just for HALF a tank of gas - mid-size sedan.
Note to Hil: Not being able to work the coffee machine in a gas station convenience store doesn't exacly advance that strong, ballsy, woman-of-the-people image you are trying to project this week! Maybe instead of the pantssuit you might try Levi 501s and flannel shirts. Hey it would have been much better if you had actually been driving an old pick-up truck and pumped the gas yourself. Better yet, the next time one of these cretins you call advisors suggest another loser of a half-baked PR idea, tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine.
Given all that, it looks to me like she is actually using it correctly. (Speaking as a programmer, I'd say this is a design error, not a user error. :) )
Yeah, the music makes it funny, and makes it look like she's an idiot. Fair enough. However, I'm an Obama supporter, and while there are any number of things you can legitimately criticize Clinton (let alone McCain!) for, I must say that I find this sort of video to be unfair, and to be just another distraction from the critical issues facing us in this country. We need to be better than this.
