AMERICAblog: Hillary won West Virginia and an email from fantasyland

Now this trend will probably reverse, but im looking at some of the early results and it looks like a 7ish% didnt vote for obama or hillary. If this keeps up it could seriously damage hillary's much needed blowout. Not that it matters much, this victory is symbolic for hillary whether she wins by 50 points or 5.

Big win in the dumbest state in the union -- whoop-dee-doo!!
63% of West Virginian's voters thought that the tax holiday was a good idea. That's all I need to know about these people.
I have to say that the TV coverage is pretty crummy tonight. They have devoted HOURS to discussing the primary results of one minor state and feel compelled to keep asking each other over and over if this 'changes' anything. We all knew this was coming -- me, you, the TV talking-heads and the superdelegates. Where is the surprise?? Why does this change anything??
If this defeat in WV causes any superdelegates to take pause, they must be as dumb as the voters who went for Hillary tonight.

If there ever was another example of Hillary being like a republican it would be found in West Virginia. It is a perfect state for her - followers of whatever bs she spills for them.

They are smoking some serious crack over at MY DD. I mean really, congratualtions on the win tonight Hillary... but pretending that this somehow changes the dynamics of this election... and using this win to attack the nominee... form a "liberal" blog that co wrote "Crashing the Gate". They are on drugs! Advocating to "count states that were not in play... and give a person who was not on the ballot zero votes... BONG HIT!
"Direct Democracy for People Powered Politics"... god save us!
Important essay By Scott Ritter about the City Of Chicago's efforts to pass a measure REJECTING this criminal Admins obvious efforts to start war with Iran:
Hillary Clinton's supporters are, according to SNL, racists. Imagine these so called Democrats, preferring to vote for McCain more than Obama. WV voted for Bush the last two times. Doesn't that explain it?

Brazile just jumped on her about this. DNC is the one who gets to determine it, and it is still 2025. That will only change if and credentials committee says so.

Someone better tell Hillary:
,,,,,no Democrat has won the White House without carrying Minnesota since 1912 (it went for Teddy Roosevelt's Bull Moose party) so given that Obama won Minnesota and Clinton won West Virginia, McCain is guaranteed to win the general election
Has anyone noticed that boy in boxing gloves? I've seen him behind her in 3 different states so far, are they bringing supporters with her to fill up behind her?

Actually, they probably are. I was asked to go to SC, from MD, to be there for Edwards. The Obama people wanted me to go hither and yon, except that they didn't ask me nicely, the "assigned" me a place in PA, 4 hours and waaaaay too many dollars in gas, away, even though I only live about 20 minutes from the county seat of Franklin CO., much less Fulton or Adams CO. (I notice they didn't do the same for WV. hehehe) I UNassigned myself straight away, even though I'm an Obama supporter. I did go for Edwards, though. Now THERE was a man to lead us!... *sigh*

Just as Obama says that no one is perfect..we all know that. And if someone that works on his campaigns does something to be wrong. , it should not be a reason to vote for someone else. Look at the bigger picture and who you really want to be president? that is what counts...Why punish the man you support?
annathule
Oh, I didn't "punish" him - I still did some calling from home and have given money, but door-to-door canvassing isn't something I can do anyway - my hips won't allow me to walk the length of the grocery store, much less house-to-house. I just didn't care for being "assigned" to Harrisburg without even the decency of asking me first - nicely or otherwise. John Edward's campaign called me up, asked me if I could go support him in any one of several states and SC did nicely, as Mom lives on the SC/NC border and I could visit her while I was there. (Still had to get a room though, Mom only has an efficiency.) And when I said I'd work SC for them, they worked diligently to find me a place near the state line. They never ONCE "assigned" me someplace that takes 4 hours to get to, one way, and I wouldn't know my way around with a map and a compass! I'm just a small town girl, and this small town girl doesn't DO cities, thank you very kindly. So you see, I didn't "punish" anyone. I still did everything I would have done there, I just didn't add carbon to the atmosphere, or use up petroleum reserves, by driving back and forth every day. A win-win situation for all.

Hilary makes these meaningless speeches about the tide turning, and games changes, with some gloating and smugness, whenever she wins a state, but the bottom line is, she is horrible in the math department, and behind in all aspects of the race, and yet she continues to decieve her naive supporters, with all this talk about winning. What a waste of time and money.

There she goes again with that crap that no one has won the White House without winning WVA. First thing out of her mouth was a plea for money. That says it all. Who in their right mind would send that woman more money when she doesn't have a chance in hell to win?
"Sure, I will vote for Hillary cause she is a woman! Sure, I will vote for Hillary cause she wants to take away the gas tax! " And some of these people will be dumb enough to send her their last nickel. Because she has convinced them she has a chance. Now she is playing on their fears of the cost of food, fuel, health costs knowing full well there isn't a damn thing she can do about them nor will she do anything about them. She is a liar and a thief.

This is out of control, because Hillary is playing the race card and she doing it openly. She lost and to keep pretending that she can still win makes some of her crazier racist supporters believe that Obama is stealing this nomination from the white people.
Hillary never even acknowledged when Obama won 11 straight primaries, she never acknowledges when he wins any states, but when she wins a state the entire process should come to a standstill because its a game changer.. The delusion is reaching a dangerous point.

Thank you so much..Very well said. She is playing the race card and for a while now. When she reaches out to female voters and how she does it...when she says she is the better candidate , she is trying to say he can never win the candacy..but she will see for herself. Maybe if she was honest, but she is not. She is going good faking who she really is..and cannot figure where she really is from. She believe just as she chose to not remove her name off the ballot in Michigan, that she was right but Obama and Edwards were the ones that followed the rules by removing their names. She wants to change to goal post as of course..she is a clinton. It is ashame and she really makes me believe she is a republican. NO..I DO NOT WANT HER ON TICKET WITH OBAMA.

Senator Clinton, likes to claim she is the best candidate to take on John McCain in the fall. While I have great respect for the Senator’s lifetime of public service, she has demonstrated a far greater passion for winning, than she has for leading. Hillary Clinton, like John McCain, wants to be President for all the wrong reasons.
For Senator McCain, his motivation is not unlike Senator Bob Dole’s motivation in 1996. Yet thinking that it is ' your turn ' really isn’t reason enough to hand someone the keys to the White House. In the case of Hillary Clinton, I am afraid that her motivation is not unlike George W. Bush’s motivation.. Yet wanting be be able to one -up the family member who held that job previously, is also the wrong reason to run for President.
When we look at all those who are seeking to be the next President of the United States the question becomes even more clear. Who can restore our nation’s place as that shining city on hill?
Who can heal the eight years of division, deception, corruption, and contempt for the fundamental principles of American Democracy? Who can offer more than; Hey! It’s my turn! ? Who will bring focus and vision and not just ambition to the Oval Office ?
The reason I am voting for Barack Obama is found in how he answered that question. Senators McCain and Clinton are quick to say ' I can do that! ' . Yet it is Barack Obama who has showed us all that he knows the answer is much larger than one man when he says; Yes WE can.

Hillary is really a sorry excuse for a WOMAN when she has to use the mind games to encourage women to vote for her. She is so desperate and for some reason think she is the best candidate to take on MccAINN...BUT FOR HER INFO: .....she could not even handle her Bosnia Sniper lie so what make her believe she will be able to handle all the baggage her and her husband has..as a vote for Hillary is a vote for Bill. And if she think she can handle, then why not start by telling us where is the money coming from that is being donated to Bill from overseas? Also, expalain the Whitewater files that was missing and came up present later on with her finger prints on it??? well, i have at least more than 10 questions...and it is only me...so imagine the Republicans...KEEP IT REAL LADY.
Obama will be the Nominee..and get THAT MESSAGE. She includes Florida and Michigan but she forgetting the rules because she thinks the Clintons make the rules. As if the Clintons are all that and Obama is not...well lady, we shall see. And me and my family live in florida...and we never got a chance to vote for Obama because we were told it would not count, so lets be real. And my kids represent the Hispanic votes.
