AMERICAblog: Hillary's campaign is $20m in debt

  • ZennButtKicker (tlhwraith) · 1 year ago
The better question is, who in the heck is still giving her any money! I'm serious, in what delusional fantasy are those who are still giving her money living in?

Hillary has a few options (IMHO) which go something like this:

    1. ...she stays in this campaign and bloodies Obama so badly that the Super Delegates BEG her to come back.

    2. ...she stays in this campaign and bloodies Obama so badly that the Super Delegates think she's nutz then decide that she can do "anything" and then they BEG her to come back.

    3. ..she stays in this campaign and bloodies Obama so badly that he runs and no one wants to vote for him and she can run in 2012.

    4. . ..she stays in this campaign and proves to us all that she's just THAT crazy and then is thrown OUT of the party.

    5. ...she stays in this campaign until she has done the most damage possible and leaves to flee to the McSame ticket to run as VP OR as a cabinet member.

    Your choice...

The thread is pretty funny, too.

This is unbelievable. $20 mil in debt! There should be a rule that stops her campaign right in its tracks.

I suspect that what John suspects is correct all of the above. :)

Man, if the roles were reversed and it was obama who was in this situation, hillary would be fireing the cannons in a series of ads talking about how obama cant manage funds, is he really able to manage america, blah blah blah. But we know obama isnt going to go in for the kill because he has integrity and is focussing on mccain. In light of that, i think we need to do whatever we can to spread the word and put the heat on hillary so she doesnt have anymore big victories. It'd be nice if somebody made some strong hillary attack ads so obama doesnt have to:P

    OT

I wish someone would publish and accurate superdelegate accounting. The past week I have read he is up one, up two and just now on CNN on line he is tied. It is making my head hurt.

    Aquarius,
I don't know why, but every network seems to have a different delegate count.

I guess it figures, they never research their efforts, so who would care if their network was actually correct in anything they cite.

OMG, this is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Bill O'lieley going apeshit on Inside Edition. You must watch this thing.

Hillary wants to fight up until the last Primary so in 2012 she can say, "well I have a broad base (but enough about your fat ass) to draw support from...remember in 2008 how I won West Virginia and Kentucky and Puerto Rico, blah, blah, blah..." She is only concerned about being President at this point...no matter the damage done to the country.

Somebody needs to retire Hillary to Dubai with a golden paint suit... Bill can have a harem and their Bride of Chucky daughter can speculate on her very own oil well.

Obama will wind up being the nominee, with no debt and plenty left in his campaign chest. So, who's the most financially astute in this race? Clinton's heavy spending in a no expense spared race just points to how she might run this govt. (just like Bush--in the deep red zone). This "win at all cost" attitude that her supporters like will come back to haunt them, although I suspect that many of her supporters are the same ones who overcharge their credit cards, too.

Meantime, I am refusing to comment on any "Monica" awards to the Clinton campaign. I mean, why now, when so many Dems (not me, I'm glad to say) thought it was pretty cute of Bill to get head in the Oval office at the time it happened and continued to support his horrible treatment of women he was involved with over the years. I'm just a little bewildered at the misogyny in using a young woman to invoke the bad judgment, dirty tricks, etc. of the Clinton campaign when everyone was thinking Bill was such a stud back when. Talk about hypocrisy.

she's got nowhere else to go.
what can she do for NY that she hasn't already not done.

The cover of TIME was nice but thought the content inside was weak. The 5 reasons Hillary lost was accurate but obvious. I truely believe Hillary lost this because of who she is.

The turning point in this campaign I believe was when she voted in support of kyle/lieberman. We in the base had been struggling to forgive her for enabling bush and republican failure in Iraq, and just as we thought we might she voted to enable the them in Iran.

She lost moderates with her political support of spitzer's driver's licenses, then her unsupport of them after spitzer pull them down. then of course spitzer got caught with them down.

The more of these two groups she lost the more support she got from the lunatics. fox and friends in their mock support made it clear that she was who they wanted to run against.

Finally, her, Bill and the gang playing the race card I believe shocked many in the Democratic party. Some tried to rationalize it others could not.

She lost this. All by herself.

I suspect it's all of the above, plus staying on deck in case Obama gets hit by a meteor.

    ----

Thing is, she can just "suspend" her campaign and wait for the meteor. She doesn't have to keep running to be next in line if Obama falters. Mitt's been waiting for McCrazy to have a cancer recurrance for several months now.
  • vwcat · 1 year ago
Andrea mitchell said today that her supporters are beginning to say she should leave this week. They want her to leave the race now. It is said that after a big win in WV she is going to get out. We'll see. I am not holding my breath. obama has not challenged her there at all and she will blow him out tomorrow and she will take that as a reason to stay in.
  • tbhull · 1 year ago
She is trying to glorify P.T. Barnum by having her supporters contribute enough to pay off her personal debt and then she will exit. The problem is uneducated hillbilly's dfo not have that much to give.
