AMERICAblog: Hillary's top advisers supported stripping Michigan and Florida of their delegates

Haha. John, I love this! I'm creating a file and sticking all this good stuff in it. You see, the public just doesn't have access to all of this information. I doubt if even the Obama campaign crew can keep up with all of it.
I just keep firing this stuff of to Digg, and Reddit. Keep up the great work. This is the only site that gives me a huge measure of hope.

Clinton didn't need Michigan and Florida before she needed Michigan and Florida,She didn't need Michican and Florida cause she was to be Crowned Queen on SuperTuesday.

Yes, it's the The Clinton Group: Supreme in their own minds, yet strangely behind.

I don't know a single Obama supporter who would vote for Billary if she became the nominee. As John said, she can only "steal" it. The DNC needs to know that if Shillary somehow steals the nomination, we will give the Presidency to McCain. The Democratic Party is permanently broken. But I truly believe Obama can create a new group of both Republicans and Democrats who want to work together in Washington and are sick and tired of the divisive partisanship of the Clintons and extremist Democrats.

Sadly, that's probably true.
Wish John and Joe can take a sabbatical to start a War Room for Obama.

I think there's a back room deal to disenfranchise voters in November. When you compare turn out during the primaries, Democrats far outnumber GOPers. More than 80% of voters think the country is on the wrong track and over 60% want a pullout from Iraq. States in the South are in play in November because of turnout, but as always, the GOP could disenfranchise voters and win no matter what. DIEBOLD.

It wouldn't surprise me considering all the dirty tactics the Clintons have used up to this point as they become more and more desperate. If Hillary somehow prevents Obama from his rightful place as President, people will abandon the Democratic Party in droves. Howard Dean needs to know that and stop Billary from trashing the Party. The fact that McCain is rising in the polls is really frightening. Who knows if what Limbaugh predicted will come true.

Would be interesting to watch Hillary try to be the first Democrat since, oh, maybe the depression, to win an election without the African American vote.
You go girl.

What is truly amazing is that Hillary is polling lower among African-Americans than even McCain or Ron Paul (yes, you heard that right). She and her lying husband are now despised among Black voters because of their racist ads against Obama. The Clintons keep creating a new low in desperate negative campaigning. All the African-Americans I know despise them.

Obama is supposed to be on FOXNews Sunday today with Chris Wallace. I used to hate FSN, but I think they are now one of the only networks to be giving Obama fair treatment. At least they will let him speak the truth about Billary. Anyone see the interview yet?

I've been saying for months that Hillary should have been standing up for the voters of Florida and Michigan when the bonehead state leaders agreed to disenfranchise their own constiuents...this is typical Clinton bullshit...it's at the top of her agenda now, but as the decision was being made she had nothing to say...not to mention the fact that her own top advisor's have said that the votes don't count...more two faced antics from team Clinton.

Sorry, but if she steals the nomination, I'll vote all the down ticket dems and leave her name blank. If that means a supreme court that overturns Roe v. Wade, then she's only got herself to blame. The Clintons are trying to kill the progressive movement. This is where I make my stand. Bill and Hillary have no place in OUR democratic party.

Why don't Clinton and Lieberman launch the Joker Party already????
The Joker can be an extremely beneficial, or an extremely harmful, card. In Euchre it is often used to represent Benny, the highest trump. In poker, it is wild. However, in the children's game Old Maid, a solitary joker represents the Maid, a card that is to be avoided. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joker_%28playing_c...

I still think I'd vote for Hillary, but only because she scares me just slightly less than McCain. I really, really would hate to do it.

I don't know.
A Hillary Admin. will definitely kill the Democrats in Congress and in the Governors offices. Her husband did, and she's much less popular than he was . She'll also pull the plug on the 50 state strategy.
Think it might be better to fight McCain for four years than to have Hillary in the White House.

This is going to be interesting watching how Dean and the leaders handle Florida and Michigan. So much has happened since Florida voted, would Clinton still win with a re-vote? Same thing for Michigan, (Obama wasn't on the ticket) would the voters still vote in Clinton?
When you think about it, a re-do vote might not be fair to either candidate, so how the heck is this going to play out?

I posted on a thread below that this whole destruction of Obama is a combined effort of the DNC and the Clintons. It is about the old boys network, keeping the status quo and the huge resistance to having an elitist black man sitting at the same table and more importantly representing America. To many Americans refuse to accept the equality of the black American. Great musicians but don't let them speak for us. Take a look at the House or the Senate and see how many blacks reside there. It about retaining the money supply for the old guard, the position of power, the entitlement. i felt quite let down after Pa. I can't imagine how Senator Obama felt. I am sure it would be easy for him to simple say, "I have had enough, getting my balls kicked in because a man I met 30 years ago is a supposed terrorist, being held accountable for what my church minister says and most of all questioning my patriotism over a flag pin. Is this where we have fallen to. If the flag is the deal, then McCain is a traitor for making tapes for the Vietnamese, If the words of Reverend Wright is the deal then repeatedly lying about false danger in Bosnia then that is an impeachable offense. The Washington crowd don't want this black man setting policy, representing America and determining how we get out of our current disaster as a country.

When was the first time Hillary became so concerned about Florida and Michigan, was it when other candidates were still in the race like Richardson and Edwards or was it only after she didn't win Super Tuesday.
If she was so concerned about disenfranchising voters why would she sign the pledge?

Lynchie, as a Republican, it is not really my place to advise your Party. But I actually agree with what you are saying. The DNC is refusing to renounce corrupt cronies like the Clintons and maybe it's time to leave the Democrat Party and start anew. Obama has a lot of moderate Republican supporters and Independents too. It would be great to teach the old-style DNC a lesson and leave behind the partisan politics of personal destruction that the Clintons promoted.

Speaking as a Michigander, I do not mind if our delegates are not seated.
I've lived here all my life, and this most recent primary was a joke. It was a political joust that knocked the Michigan Democratic Party bigwigs who orchestrated it on their collective butts (and, personally, I say leave them there). The ballot was a joke for obvious reasons. I really had no choice, so I sat it out.
Let the state Democrats take their medicine. Those who orchestrated the jump-start primary are representative of the establishment players nationwide who are dragging down the party in ways big and small.
Making up 2% of the total states of the Union, I think we can safely depend on the other 96% of them, plus territories, to have our back for us this time around.
So, no redo, says this Michigander.

Billary has dropped in the polls big time once again. People are not only abandoning her campaign, many are speaking out against her corruption and deceitful tactics. She and Slick Willie are going to go down in history as two of the most corrupt and criminal Democrats in history. If only we could get them to switch Parties. They are an embarrassment.

I am nearly incoherent with rage right now...!!!!!!!
GOD DAMN HILLARY CLINTON for disenfransching me when it was convenient, and trying to pin her hopes for some miracle "comeback" on the backs of the people of my state.

PJT, speak for yer own damn self. If this didn't piss you off as a Michigander, I believe you must have blood of ice. I fail to see how your embrace of the fact that we were fucked over is in any way a call to fair play, no matter what you may think of the curernt clown car in Lansing.
I for one deeply and passionately care about not only my and everyone's right to vote, but the exercise thereof.

Good NYT discussion on whether Obama can win over the working class and older folks.
