AMERICAblog: Holocaust-denying bishop 'apologizes' for, but refuses to recant, his claims that only 300k died in Holocaust, no gas chambers

  • devis1 · 9 months ago
"..victims of injustice under the Third Reich..". Third Reich???? Injustice??? Really??? UGH
  • truebluecoondog · 9 months ago
300, and no gas chambers, yeahright. Just ask Eli Weisel, who spoke this morning about losing his personal savings as well as that of his foundation to that Madoff creep. He probably knew at least 300 personally who were gassed.

I feel guilty for saying this, but I won't feel bad when our sorry excuse for a pope dies.
  • Rob Mule · 9 months ago
His gold sarcophagus and burial gown will be to die for...
  • Gridlock · 9 months ago
Yes, he's sorry people are offended not that he offended them.
  • anastasjoy · 9 months ago
Look: we long ago established that saying you're sorry if anyone was offended is NOT an apology at all, but simply a way of suggesting that others were too thin-skinned about your correct statements.
  • Indigo · 9 months ago
Exactly. A Republican apology is not an apology, it just shifts the blame. Apparently, Catholic apologies are like that too.

I misspoke. It doesn't shift the blame, it blames the victim.
  • nicho · 9 months ago
Well, we're probably even, because I don't believe that whole "Jesus thing" ever happened. It was all made up.

The Rick Santelli of Nazi churchmen...

That's some weak ass PR non-apology from Vater Fausthaussieren.
  • Older_Wiser · 9 months ago
Williamson is just sorry he had to leave Argentina. That's about it. He's been an anti-Semite all his life.

What's the big surprise of course The Nazi Youth Pope would side with a Holocaust denier.I bet if the truth was known The Nazi Youth Pope may have taken part some acts himself.
  • nicho · 9 months ago
He wasn't only Nazi youth -- he also served in the Army and worked on an anti-aircraft battery.
  • ComradeRutherford · 9 months ago
Which means that he saw with is own eyes the slave labor and piles of dead bodies.

    By Mark Sandell

The Bishop is being “helped” by historian David Irving, who told The Times :

“”He is not a Holocaust denier. Like me, he does not buy the whole package.”

Irving himself has served a prison sentence in Austria for his views.

anybody noticed that the holocaust denying bishop is a fookin nut?
  • lewis stoole · 9 months ago
wasn't ww2 the start of the "era of genocide"?
we had the germans killing millions of hebrews, gays, and the mentally ill...
the japanese killed millions of chinese and koreans
stalin turns around and kills millions of russians
mao comes into power and kills millions of chinese
america kills millons of vietnamese and starts a death squad school for the americas
then cambodian govt kills millions of cambodians

oops, actually, this has been going on longer. the turks killed millions of armenians. the americans killed hundreds of thousands of native americans.

why is this guy fixated on the holocaust, after all of that history, it is not to difficult to assume that it did in fact happen.
  • lewis stoole · 9 months ago
oops, the turks only killed several hundred thousand armenians, and they still deny it to this day. i guess deniers of genocide are as common as the actors of genocide.(and most likely, one in the same).
  • PeteWa · 9 months ago
conservative estimates of the Native American population before the onset of European "colonization" assume the numbers to have been greater than 12 million people.
to claim that Americans killed merely in the hundreds of thousands would be laughable except for the enormity of the travesty.

not that I don't agree with your main point...

Note that Williamson is a member of Pius X, the secret Catholic society that seeks to reverse the reforms of Vatican II. Is thought that Pope Rat is a secret member. There is legitimacy to the opposition to the extremely liberal reforms of Vatican II. However, Williamson's reasons for being a member of Pius X is not that he objects to the liberalism of Vatican II, but rather to the ecumenicism that includes Jews. I think Pope Rat has also repeatedly demonstrated his own deep seated anti-Semitism. Personally, I think John XXIII was a saint and believe in his ecumenicism, acceptance of all spiritual people regardless of religious affiliation and acceptance of gays. We've already seen Pope Rat's bitter hatred and damnation of gays. I think Pope Rat is headed toward hell, but I doubt he will be surprised as he knows that he long ago gave his allegiance to Satan.

One site that discusses this, ad nauseum, is truerestoration.blogspot.com

Pope Benedict is just saying "Hey, it's much harder to condemn Nazis when you spend a few years hanging out with them and really getting to KNOW them."
  • samiinh · 9 months ago
The Catholic Church was one of the vehicles for the escape of thousands of Nazi Party members at the end of WWII. Ratlines to South America and the United States went through Vatican sources. The Vatican was complicate with the Third Reich.

Odd that people like Williamson can believe in Jesus Christ, when there is no evidence that he ever existed, yet deny the holocaust with all the evidence to prove that it happened.
  • yaridanjo · 9 months ago
Christ did exist as an Avatar of the Infinite Soul'. It manifested in he body of Jesus on 4 March 33 AD at sunrise. Jesus was born 31 March 3 BC in the morning on the sabbath. This data contributes a data point to a distant planet like body of 141 Earth masses, and that point must be coplaner. Buddha, Lao Tzu and Sri Krisna were other such Avatars.
The Magi, astrologers from the East used a form of the Chinese Tzu Wei astrology to find the toddler Jesus (not in the manger). This event happened on 17 June 2 BC. The star they followed was Polaris as it is the 'King' star and Jesus had to have in in the personality house of of His Tzu Wei chinese astrology chart..

    Prove it.
  • bilsemon · 9 months ago
Williamson said that there's no way that people were gassed because the doors on the concentration camps didn't seal well enough to prevent the gas from leaking and killing the guards. Guess he never heard of gas masks, huh?

I find it telling that the current Catholic Holy See is so blind to the reality of Williamson. His newly forgiven and dutifully reinstated Bishop who is so bound up in hate and loathing of biblical proportions that it defies the imagination. I find interesting also that this same Holy See is himself so tolerant of his Bishop's non-apology apology . Clearly this Pope celebrates Williamson's flagrant assault to his authority and position in the world. It seems the Pope is more than willing to have blatant and ugly rebellion in his ranks.

I suspect it won't be long before others within Catholic ranks will show their true colors. Priests having sex, perhaps? Or perhaps, Women as Priests or Bishops? Male and female Priests getting married? Same sex Priests getting married? Opening the Vatican vaults so that the Pagan scrolls of ancient science and history finally see the light of day? Go for it. This Pope is good to go. Just ask Williamson.
  • RitornaVincitor · 9 months ago
The Holy See actually refers to the central government of the Church in Rome, of which the Pope is head. And for something called a see, it is surprisingly blind.
  • RitornaVincitor · 9 months ago
Smarmy. And very much like a bishop.

    He is right! See:

Norman Finkelstein on The Holocaust Industry
"Jewish American historian Norman Finkelstein argues in his explosive new book, "The Holocaust Industry: Reflections on the Exploitation of Jewish Suffering" that Holocaust remembrance has been exploited by the Jewish establishment.
In his book he contends that a greater threat to the memory of the Holocaust than Holocaust deniers is what he calls 'The Holocaust Industry'. "
