  • SINGING_TROLL · 1 year ago
    GO HOWIE>

    LET's GET THIS PARTY STARTED!

Seriously. Enough friggin games. Those Super Delegates that hold out are every bit as destructive and unwholesome as Hillary.

    FUCKING DECIDE.

Howard Dean has done a heck of a lot of work party-building State by State.

While he may be a Hlllary supporter, HE IS NO HILLBOT.

He is an actual Progressive Democrat who isn't about to let the sociopath Hillary ruin his good work.

Dean is about the future. And that future is with OBAMA.
I think he finally got that.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    OK. I'm in.

The presidency is just not worth winning if you have to vote for Hillary to do it.
  • butchcjg · 1 year ago
How about you encourage us all to google something about Hillary so it shows up on Google Trends? "Hillary Sniper Fire" or "Hillary Bosnia" or "Clinton pardons" or "Screw em', Bill"
  • tbhull · 1 year ago
I want Clinton out because she cannot win without stealing the nomination and thwarting the will of the voters. But I think these type of attacks are better for Obama coming from Clinton first rather than from the repubs.

One must be oblivious to the coming reality to believe these types of attacks on Obama will not eventually come up. The media will listen and publish then. Better to publish now than later.

    ----

    I don't think he's a Hillary supporter.

Hillary's people have been trying to oust him ever since he got the RNC job.

Obama has picked up five superdelegates in the last two days, one a Washington, DC defection from Clinton's camp.

Was just thinking this a few minutes ago. Gore, Edwards, Biden, etc. have to get off the fence now. Time to send the Clinton's to the political graveyard.

i like butch's idea...maybe we could all google "hillary bosnia" "hillary screw 'em" and i even like the idea of "hillary to resign, retire"

Thank you Howard Dean for publicly saying what needed to be said for some time now! I hope he is also calling each of the heavy weight super delegates and expressing the same thing. Namely, it is now time to get off the fence and voice your choice.

I was a big supporter of Howard Dean in 2004. What a rigid dictator he has become. He may be the DNC Chairman, but he is just another citizen like you and me. First he is do rigid that that he falls into Governor Jeb Bush's plans and 1.7 million voters end up disenfranchised, for what seems to me a much less valid reason than Katherine Harris and the Supreme court used in 2000. Now he thinks he has a right to determine when the Democrat Delegates should chose who they are supporting. All to make sure that Puerto Rico, Indiana, North Carolina and West Virginia don't have a vote.

He has no historical perspective, before the last few years the candidates always fought till the end. Since when do candidates stop in the middle of the process.

26 Delegates ...one for every letter of the alphabet...
    Come out this weekend.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
13 delegates.....one from each of the original 13 states.

Something of interest. Over on Dem Underground they have a list of members of the group that co-sponsored last nights debate. Notice the ESQ following some of the names...that is a sign of nobility. Attorneys use it and if you didn't know it..the original Constitution forbid nobility in the the 13 amendment which was dropped from the constitution without ratification. Just found it interesting.

And lets not forget, Iowa broke the rules for when to hold their caucus just as substantially as Florida broke the rules on when to have their primary. Dean did nothing to punish Iowa. And why should he, Iowa is filled with straight men and women and is the state in the Union with the lowest percentage of Gay and Lesbians. Let us disenfranchise the Queers, Hatians, Jews, old people and non-Mexican Latino's in Florida. Good job Howard Dean in being the biggest disenfranchiser of voters in modern history.

I agree with Howard Dean. Superdelegates get off their butts and make a decision. Sure they don't have to but if the press is going to treat Obama as the nominee then he needs to be able to go forth as the nominee and concentrate on defeating Howard Dean instead of constantly fending off Clinton attacks.

I believe three things. 1. Hillary Clinton has done permanent damage to her political career, with implications that even she has not figured out yet. 2. The public and most Democrats have not figured this out yet either. Too much information, too quickly. 3. I make my living gaming poltics, the markets, policy, and geo-politics--so I have high confidence that Hillary has indeed inflicted permanent damage, and I wager all the other folks who do what I do are thinking similar thoughts--and placing their bets accordingly.

My partner and I (and 70 close friends-80% gay/lesbian) had Howard Dean to the house for a $1000 a plate fundraiser before he imploded. He was genuine, forthright, smart, charming, and funny. He embraced each person there with warm regard. Dean's a stand up guy in our little gay neck of the woods.

Here is a very good explanation of why it is over for Clinton. The author covers the math, the reason why the Dems cannot let this go on and the reason why the superdelegates will not override the popular vote.

But it doesn't sound like Dean is going to lower the boom---if you read the link to the CNN article.
He needs to call every SD who is undeclared and urge them to declare immediately after the N.C. primary IMNSHO.
Hillary will then say it doesn't count until the convention.
Then it is time to have a special pre-convention meeting and finish her off.

The Scotsman reported a week or so ago that Gore and Carter are in talks about calling an end to this as well.

So when are the talks going to end and the super delegates decide. Just asking....

Who made Pennsylvannia 'the battleground'? To me, it's just another state. This democratic process has gone on far too long. We've now reached a point where we're doing the republican's dirty work for them and McSame just gallops in and takes the whole election -- because Hillary won't do the morally right thing and step down. It's about time Dean said/did something. The Clintons are struggling for control not only of the country, but also of the party. They need to disappear. They're causing more trouble than they're worth.
  • Milli · 1 year ago
Dean, and the rest of the Democrats, need to tell Hillary DIRECTLY to get out of the race. Sorry, but they need to grow a set. The Clintons have made a mockery out of this whole race. Why Dems are still humoring Hillary is beyond me.

Not a superdelegate, but a diarist at Kos is reporting that due to absentee and late counted ballots, Barack Obama picked up an additional delegate in Hamilton County(Cincinnati), OH. today.

Rockin' post, and Hell Yeah it's about damn time, Mr. Dean. Now follow through. Make it happen!
