Like we miss Cholera

Okay. Here’s a story that is getting minor attention in the US. UNBELIEVABLE STORY.
Dr Aafia Siddiqui was arrested in Pakistan in March 2003, taken to Bagram Prison, Afghanistan, her three young children (US citizens) disappeared.
From Wiki (this is verifiable according to about any news source out there), “The US-government claims that Siddiqui was not captured in March 2003, that she was arrested on July 17, 2008 outside the home of the Governor of Ghazni. The US account of the July 18, 2008 shooting is that FBI agents, interpreters, and several GIs entered the room where Aafia Siddiqui was supposed to be only to find she wasn’t there. According to the US account when they didn’t find Siddiqui there, the GIs didn’t search for her — they set down their weapons — whereupon Siddiqui burst from behind a curtain, grabbed an M-4, and opened fire.”
No one was injured in this incident EXCEPTING Aafia.
Prisoners that have been released from the prison in Bagram have spoken of her screams over the years, from these accounts she has come to be referred to as the “Gray Lady of Bagram”.
Five years later — they’ve got her here in court, here in the US (United States District Court for the Southern District of New York), they are refusing to give her medical assistance, she is 36 years old, and now has one of her kidneys removed, her teeth removed, her nose was broken and improperly reset and her recent gun-shot wound has been incompetently dressed, is oozing blood, leaving her clothes soaked with blood.
Lies upon lies - injustice and insanity! This Thursday, 09/04/2008 Dr Aafia Siddiqui refused to appear in court to protest against the humiliating treatment she is receiving. Her lawyer, Elizabeth Fink, states that Siddiqui has spent years in confinement and is deeply worried about her three children (the US government has finally admitted that they are holding her eldest son who is eleven years old, no mention of where or what is up with the two younger children).
Before she can see her lawyer or go to court she is subjected to strip searches (prison regulations). According to her lawyer — her client is made to take off all her clothes and stand with her legs apart then subjected to an anal examination and ordered to bend over and cough to ensure that she was not hiding anything. Fink said that Siddiqui not only needs to be immediately hospitalized but she needs a gynecologist and she requires a psychiatric evaluation.
Wow. I cannot believe that this is being allowed to happen is a NYC-USA Court Room.

Howie Kurtz ? Calling out Palpatine? KUDOS !
this needs to be nipped in the bud.
this guy in California is starting up a 527...he also recently tried to mess with California's electoral votes to...surprise!...benefit the GOPers...

I'm convinced that the US electorate has collective ADD. I wonder how many Amercians can even name the 4 principal contenders.
"Look, there's something red and shiny over there!"
I go to Craig's list and post these headlines in the Rants and Raves Section.
Usually in a red state. ;) :)
I don't quite understand the time frame here. Congress killed the Bridge to Nowhere earmark in November 2005, before Palin ran for governor:
