AMERICAblog: Hunt for al Qaeda "undermined by bitter disagreements within the Bush administration" and Iraq War

McCain supports the policies that have led to bin Laden. Zawahiri and the anthrax mailer still being at large. Lieberman thinks that means "ready on day 1"

Maybe Bush does not care about destroying Al Qaeda. Bin Laden is worth more to his administration at large than he is captured and/or executed. He is the specter that hangs over our heads and terrorizes the nation. If he were caught he would be come another non-issue just like Saddam Hussein was when he was caught.

The so-called "war on terror"--a war without end, gives the president war time powers he would not ordinarily have and which he and Cheney have exploited to the max.

binLaden is dead and has been for years. Benazir Bhutto acknowledged this just prior to getting assassinated. 9/11 was an inside job. Want proof? Easy- it's been here all along:

It was sad watching the teevee morning quislings attempt to paint this rose...
I think it is clear because of the dizzying heights of Bush incompetence that Cheney will push some type of unilateral action against Iran AFTER the election so to tie the hands of President Obama in a manner similar to H.W.'s Somalia adventure and the fuel it became in the echo chambers psyop battle against then newly elected President Clinton.

Or before the election so the commander in chief can put National Security Presidential Directive 51 into place and declare a state of emergency, suspend the elections, and have exclusive control over the country.

Note the companion story about US controlled oil business. This was the goal of the US intervention in Iraq, and George Bush is clearly moving to consolidate control for his own and his friends' interests before he leaves office. He then will be able to say "mission accomplished".

Meanwhile, Seymour Hirsh is reporting that Bush's war on Iran is underway. Where is the media?

The Bush Administration seriously screwed something up?

Maybe now the nation will stop electing phony cowboys...i.e. Raygun and Chimpy McFlightsuit.

Yee-hah is NOT a foreign policy.

Pelosi and Reid, you really must begin to do something. Time's running out on the ending of this country. I've already appealed to higher powers and been told they have waited long enough. You will be associated with it from now on and haunted. Trust me.

You had better begin impeachment proceedings to put some breaks on it. If not, you will be haunted the rest of your lives by your inaction. It aint worth it.

If Bush had ever been serious about going after Al Qaida and the war on Terror, he would have called for a draft the day after 911. And had he asked for the draft on 9/12, the nation would have given it to him. At the time, he could be not be sure of the scale of events or the scale of military needs. But a draft would have immediately meant that tax cuts for billionaires was off the table.

The fact that he was more than willing to give up management of our ports to the same countries that helped sponsor Bin Laden suggest he never really cared or worried about Terrorism. The invasion of Iraq was further evidence of this too.

I'm not sure who the greater idiot is: Bush or the American people.
