    When are we humans going to stop being so inhumane to animals. So, this is a surprise when one of them lashes back at our attempts to make them something thing they are not. They are not here for our silly entertainment. Good for the bear!

    Tragically, they shot the bear for killing a human. Always do such thing to animals that kill people. Sick! How can they blame animals for being animals?

    There was that tiger that some jerk in Los Angeles owned and he turned it loose near a grammar school hoping it would kill someone. The tiger was smarter than that and refused to eat the bait they set out for a week. Nevetheless, when they finally found the tiger they killed it.

    They did give the guy a slap on the wrist for animal abuse, something like 59 seconds in jail and a very, very severe lecture. Hey! After all he had a second tiger and could have turned both of them loose.

    Then they probably killed the poor bear. Its unbelievable to me that humans use animals in this way. Putting a bear on skates, how pathetic. I also have no doubt that they beat the animal mercilessly off stage.

    WAIT! I saw a "FAR SIDE" cartoon of this!

    again, it is hard to really think of this as an actual news story and not some sort of joke... I'm just waiting for a follow up news story that this is some sort of weird hoax.

    Good, when humans realize animals were not put on this earth for their entertainment we will all be better off. Maybe if the trainer and the administrator had been on skates they could have gotten out of the bear's way.
