John, your analogy is a bit off, as if her car blew up months ago, why is she still circling the track? She's still in the race, she has just been lapped a few times. For all intents and purposes, this means she won't win, but she can still try to put the leader in to the wall every time he laps her.

If Hillary were a race car she'd be the one throwing the spike strip in front of the other Team Dem cars, the one whose pit crew was slashing Team Dem tires, putting sugar in Team Dem gas tanks, denouncing Team Dem sponsors, and helping Team GOP by saying that your Team Dem car is crap and not roadworthy even though it's kicked your ass to the curb and its stat sheet shows it wil blow the doors off of team McSame.
Basically her obsolete, noisy, flaming hulk with square tires and backup lights is being pulled around the track by her towing crew yet she still thinks the checkered flag will be for her. Her only strategy for winning will be to harangue the race officials into awarding first place to her for whatever combination of 'handicaps' she feels entitles her to the victory (like she drove the course serpentine and therefore covered more miles). As she is taking her bows, she will recount the thunderous boos and jeers from most of Team Dem as actual support for her.
"Boo! Boo! Boo!" will become "You! You! You!" to her deaf ears.
