AMERICAblog: If the McCain campaign is such a disaster, how could he run the country?

  • RevDrBillyBob · 1 year ago
All McCain and the Republicans have to do is say, "Boo!" and the Wimpocrats will run away; this technique always works. Just wait, folks.

are you voting for Barr, Reverend?

This morning on Mornin Joe (sorry) they had the Gallup Poll which had Obama and McCain within 4 or 5 points which was within the margin of error. Why are McCain's polling points so high? It really worries me. Every time I see McCain on TV he looks more incompetent. According to the polls it is still anyone's game. What's going on?

Wait till the old man does that shiteating smile while debating Barack.

    btw,

What's up with the way Cindy McCain dresses? She's like the B-List of The Housewives of Orange County. The woman is a mess.

Obama will win the women's vote.
Obama will win the Latino vote.
Obama will win the youth vote.
Obama will win the black vote (duh).
Obama will win among urban voters.
    McCain will win rural voters.
McCain will sweep the South, except for Florida and Virginia.

McCain will lose more that FL and VA.

This morning, NPR has a story about what an awesome, incredible, superb, superhuman job McCain did when he was given command of a squadron after he returned to duty post Vienam War. How he singlehandedly salvaged the worst squadron in the navy and made them into the top performing squadron. Yeah! Sure!

Sounds like the Hillary Clinton campaign to me and we know where that one went. Campaigns become toxic when everyone working on them knows they're losing. You'd be worried too if you knew that at any minute, but certainly no later than November, you will be out looking for a job in this spectacular job market.

When you hardly see McCain bumper stickers....you know things are bad. I've only seen 2 and one was on a black Range Rover and the other was on a 2009 Mercedes wagon.

McCriminal is like my uncle Herb. Once or twice a month he makes sense and the whole family says he is coming out of his dementia. No one wants to admit Herb is a great guy but he has Alzheimers (sp?). It is not his fault. McCriminal lives in the 70's, he thinks he is young and full of piss and vinegar and when someone challenges him he gets crazed. As a result everyone avoids the truth and they enable him. Like having a drunk in the family that everyone knows shouldn't drink but they all bring him a bottle when they visit.
McCriminail needs an intervention. The hangers on all want plum jobs if he wins so roll the dice to be part of the campaign. I think he forgets who is running his campaign. They probably have to remind him where he is every day. Another mental giant running the country.

"If the McCain campaign is such a disaster, how could he run the country?

Because the CorporateMSM says he can. That's all we need to know.

There is little winning energy and much whining coming from the Obama cheerleaders. If your brain was fried and your life was a mess, wouldn't you want an incompetent bumbling fool as president? Of course you would. That's how McCain is going to win the White House for his frumpy frau. It's going to happen, folks.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Good analysis, Joe. McCain is Mr. go-along, get-along right now. Not exactly inspiring to Republicans and not really scary to most democrats.

McSame is just that...same as Chimpy McFlightsuit. And the reason the polls are so close is because half of this nation or even more than half are TOTAL FUCKING IDIOTS. Their vote is based on god, guns, and gays. Bumper sticker axioms. Put god back in our schools...I have a right to carry heat...and don't let them homos marry. It works. Karl Rove knew it worked and it did. McSame will soon drag out these simple axioms to carry those red states. They got nothing else.

Right on Bostonian! Succinct and to the point!

Same question came to mind about HRC's campaign. If she could not manage her finances any better than she did how the hell could she handle this rats nest of an economy Mr. Bush and company have left us.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
    so McCain<Bush?

    holy shiite.
  • KerrynowCampau · 1 year ago
I wondered the same thing about Hillary
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    Not surprised.

He crashed and burned last summer too, before a bunch of lobbyists picked him up, dusted him off and tried to ride him to the White House.

"...Mr. McCain is uncomfortable firing people or banishing them entirely. His orbit remains filled with people who have been demoted without being told they are being demoted, like Mr. Davis, who continues to hold the title of campaign manager even as Mr. Schmidt manages the campaign. Yet, Mr. McCain inspires uncommon loyalty in those who serve with him — hence the willingness of Mr. Murphy to consider coming back into the McCain campaign, despite his own rather brutal history of enmity with Mr. Davis."

"...uncommon loyalty...", huh? It's not loyalty. It's total self-interest. They know McCain is too weak to remove ineffective campaign advisers, while apparently still continuing to employ them. Why shouldn't they stick around. They get an office, a telephone, a paycheck, status and the chance to knife one of their internal political rivals for fun. Further, they'll never get call out and assigned responsibility for any failures which might occur.

This article is the most damning possible. It makes clear that McCain is totally incompetent for the office of president. I wonder whether the conservative executives (like 'Neutron' Jack Welch of GE fame) who support this boob will finally 'fess up that he does not satisfy the standards they insist executives and leaders should meet. I'm sure they cobble together some excuse, because he's one of theirs. It's crony capitalsm at its best, which is all that the Publican Party represents these days. This isn't even Third World country poltics anymore. We've sunk to Fourth World levels.
