Here's the reason Bush continuously acts like a half brained twit:

    Who's Mark Sanford?
  • judybrowni · 1 year ago
    Oh, but it gets better:
"Blitzer twisted the knife a bit further, following up on Sanford's initial mention of NAFTA. 'He's a huge supporter of free trade, John McCain, the Bush administration supports free trade. I don't see a big difference.'"

who knew Wolfie had the cajones to ask real questions and call the buzzards out when they ry to bullsh*t their way through the answers. Nice job, Wolfie!

If these Republicans get elected we are so fucked. I mean really fucked.

He's drawing a blank. I like that answer; it's consistent with the McCain campaign on so many topics.
  • tw9ff · 1 year ago
It is unbelievable that we, as progressives continue to beat up our candidate because they have a few positions on which we differ. We've GOT to start talking over and over and over again on our blogs and in our media about how absolutely pathetic the MC same campaign is and what a terrible president he would make. If we do our jobs we'll have 8 years to complain and hold Obama to his promises.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
Whereas I totally agree about how we speak of our candidate, I also see it crucial to discuss the issues that our candidate gets wrong.

It's a tough balance but our dance to the November election needs both sides of the conversation.

Looks like somebody didn't drive the wooden stake in far enough or ran out of silver bullets. Hillary is rising from the dead:

    Retry as a reply:

Obama has his FISA failure backed by a stifling level of personal cowardice to blame
  • GrMtGirl · 1 year ago
Hillary just has a hard time accepting defeat . . . she has said she'd hang in right up to the Convention . . . you know there is always that possibility of assination and stuff . . . . . . sarcasm!
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Just curious. Is that "Green Mountain Girl'?
  • GrMtGirl · 1 year ago
    Possible guess!
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
"assination" I like that; could be a noun or verb and is definitely suitable for politicians of all stripes...
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
    LOL on Mark Sanford.
  • GrMtGirl · 1 year ago
Not a laugh to me . . . pretty scary because powerful rich people can be dangerous.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
Yes, they can usually always be considered dangerous, but when they screw up and show how shallow and incredibly thick they are, it is a great moment to take a breath and laugh our asses off. I enjoy it when they "show" how dumb many of them actually are...

obama has his FISA failure backed by a stifling levelk of personal cowardice to blame.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
    tbhull,
I'm not sure I would consider Obama's stance on FISA as "cowardly", but I do consider it to be "just the same ole politics as usual"
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Obama and McWeasel are both "coasting" to the whitehouse. That's not a strategy for success.
  • dad · 1 year ago
    i'm drawing a blank also
  • dad · 1 year ago
oh.. i know. mccain's wife has more money than pickles.
  • dad · 1 year ago
oh.. and george is a failed business man. mccain has never been in business.
  • dad · 1 year ago
a more telling answer would be what the economic policy difference between cheney and gramm is. though i'm drawing a blank there too.

    both really like shotguns.

Just like the average American going to a job interview, you must be prepared. The interviewer always used to ask, "What is your weakness?" Answer I always gave: "I work too many hours." Then I went on to say how I need to learn how to STOP. It is really a weakness, but interviewers see it as a plus. Dumbshits.
