AMERICAblog: In NY, Obama has higher approval rating than Clinton, more think he's the stronger candidate for the general -- and a lot want her to drop out

C'mon New York. You have several years to find a good candidate to take on Hillary in 2012 and get her out of the Senate.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Republicans are Hillary's biggest primary supporters.
  • QUALAR · 1 year ago
Beware of sealed indictments. The New York numbers will change drastically. Besides Barack hasn't done anything for the people of New York.

I live in NY. I e-mailed my Senators THREE TIMES EACH in 2003 to PLEASE voite against the War Authorization, and they both voted for it. That was when I decided I would never vote for Hillary for President. I voted against her in the Senate primaries in 2006, and against her (for Obama) in the NYS primary this year. After she loses the nomination, I plan on voting against her again for Senate in 2012. If she ignores her constituents, why should we vote for her?

IT'S OFFICIAL: Media Execs promoted the Iraq war and stifled dissenting facts countering Bush/Cheney Iraq lies.
The corporate media still wants war with Iran, hence McCain's free pass. If we want to win in November, Obama and the Democrats must bypass the media and appeal directly to voters on a MASSIVE SCALE!!!!

Oh my GOD, that was EXACTLY what I was getting ready to POST!

I saw that yesterday, and have been waiting all day to draw attention to what she said. I almost fell out of my chair when she ADMITTED stories were rejected because she was a "corporate reporter" by "News execs."

WE DON'T HAVE AN INDEPENDENT FOURTH ESTATE ANYMORE!

As a veteran, I think there needs to be a clock ticking down the number of days Senator McCain, against the wishes of veterans organizations, opposes full educational benefits for veterans!

No post on Rev. Flagler here yet or am I missing it??? Very divisive speech from someone with a position on Obama's campaign. Hmmmmm.
  • drako22 · 1 year ago
What is his position in the campaign?

Call me stupid if you want, but what the heck are reddit? FARK? and Diggit?
Boy, Ablog is getting too many bells and whistles for me. Thought Disqus was enough. Some of the other blogs you can write comments and that's it. You don't have all these other choices to worry about.

David Paterson needs to primary her in 2012. Send the carpetbagger packing for good

New York voter here...nobody polled me, but count me in on the percentage who thinks Hillary long ago needed to drop out, Obama IS the stronger candidate, in New York and elsewhere, against McCain, and this madness has to end. I sent Senator Clinton an e-mail pleading with her to come to her senses a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, she has clearly lost all sense of perspective. I also told her that any sensible Democrat running against her for her Senate seat would get my full support.

Anybody send her the memo? She's in it 'til November.

McCain is working on how to ill-define Obama.

The Republican nominee-in-waiting is increasingly uttering campaign trail criticisms, previewing likely themes and laying the foundation for an eventual full-blown effort to try to ill define — and derail — his expected Democratic rival.

"He does not have the knowledge or experience to make the judgments" on Iraq and other issues, McCain, a four-term senator, said late Wednesday — as he does almost daily now.

    http://www.rawstory.com/news/mochila/McCain_sta...

This is why Obama needs to start working toward the general election now.

Obama needs to define McCain in his own terms. Obama needs to start peeling core GOP voters away from McCain now! Obama does not need to have to fight both Hillary and McCain all the way to the Democratic convention.

Obama claims he is a Christian and will continue to attend TUCC, but have you seen what they preach there ?
    It sure Ain't Christian !

Why will Obama continue to go to that racist church, that practices Black
Theology from the writing of Marxist, James H. Cone…?

have you read this?……….this is what his church teaches to his daughters on
Sundays……….these are the writings of James Cones - you can look it up -

“Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the
goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people,
then he is a murderer and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is
to kill gods who do not belong to the black community. Black theology will
accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white
enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power which is the
power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at
their disposal. Unless God is participating in his holy activity, we must reject
    his love.”

Malcolm X’s autobiography seemed to offer something different,” Obama wrote.
“His repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me; the blunt poetry of his words,
his unadorned insistence on respect, promised a new and uncompromising order,
martial in its discipline, forged through sheer force of will.”

From Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should
the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

From Dreams of My Father : "I found a solace in nursing a
pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race."

I have lived in NYC for the past 25 years and I haven't heard anyone who is upset with Hillary. As a New York Senator she has done so much for this State. I don't know where you biased people get your information from but I'm here to tell you IT'S NOT TRUE. I hope she continues with the race and takes it all the way to the convention. New Yorkers are fighters and that's what Hillary is.
