Ask a Dalit. India's disgusting caste system still flourishes after 3,000 years.

There is a mis-statement by CNN. Pakistan has not offerred to send its ISI chief. The Indian PM asked for ISI chief to be sent to India and Pakistan has agreed to it. Pakistan is also sending its Chief of Army with the ISI Chief. This is per Indian News Channel Time Now.

Every time there is trouble in the world muslims are involved. Every time unspeakable tragedy exists, muslims are involved. Every time there is horrible cruelty, muslims are involved. Every time there is attacks on the innocent, muslims are involved. We are witnessing the beginnings of WW III, the muslims against the rest of the world. What a blight on the world that group of people are. Such horror and lack of humanity. I feel for the innocent in India.

    Greetings AB family from India.

I was at the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai. My friend and I left on Monday to go on to New Dehli. Sadly the hotel was attacked 2 days later. We had angels protecting us.

Please pray for the city of Mumbai and India.

I will post again when I am back in the states.

    Regards.

    NAMASTE

Imperialism breeds terrorism. India is currently imperially occupying Kashmir.

P.S. if our "news" media is actually trying to inform Americans, why couldn't they just say "Bombay," the traditional, historical name that this Indian city has been called in the West for hundreds of years.
? I have been studying geography and world politics for over half a century, and I never heard of M--------- until someone said that it was the new name for Bombay.

Most Americans don't study geography anymore, and would be hard pressed to find Washington, DC, on a map, let alone India, or Mumbai...... How lucky you are.

Faced with housing shortages, mounting debt and a transport crisis, the city fathers came up with a political masterstroke – they changed its name. Previously, it had been called Bombay; now, they said, it would be Mumbai. The name is derived from the name of the Hindu goddess Mumbadevi, and was offered to an increasingly chauvinist Maharashtrian community by a right-wing Hindu fundamentalist city government. But, like most political impulses in India, it has changed nothing. The irony is that only foreigners have taken up the new name with any enthusiasm, believing they are catering to Indian sensibilities. Yet most Indians, even most Maharashtrians, continue to call the city Bombay.

Most of the country of India is going back to their original name.

Why should they change their name to satisfy US?

    Now 165....

Last night, Musharraf still failed to order the closure of madrassas controlled by extremist groups. The promised reform in 2002, which Musharraf pledged at meetings with Bush and Blair in Washington and London, has not been implemented. Until the London bombings, neither leader had bothered to ask Musharraf why not, although both have given funding for education.

Madrassas controlled by militant Pakistani groups who work for al-Qa'eda continue to function freely. One of the largest extremist groups in the country, Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, has members who have helped al-Qa'eda. It now operates under a new name and has even changed the look of its largest madrassa complex to become a model it can show to the Western press. It's like the Earls Court motor show without the short-skirted models.

Does anyone else think it is strange that even before the attack was over India, Britain and the US were saying that all indicators point towards Pakistan? I don't know about everyone else, but that is just odd to me. Even in low level crime the police don't make statements until they have reviewed all the evidence. I don't want to say it seems staged, but at least seems as if every country now has the party line ready to go against their enemy as soon as something happens, regardless of who is responsible.
