AMERICAblog: Indiana election official calls Obama "black Hitler"

  • butchcjg · 1 year ago
John, what do you think of this "McCain supporter attacked; Letter B carved in her face" story on Drudge?

Do you smell something really really fishy here? (Seems no one is brave enough to blog such a thing yet).

She is a white woman robbed out of sight of a camera, in a swing state, 12 days before election, by an Obama supporter? Hmmm, how convenient?

I bet you that if I attacked you and tried to draw a B on your face with a sharpie, there's no way that I could get it so cleanly drawn. This guy supposedly carved a perfectly shaped B?? And then she didnt seek medical attention????
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
I thought it was bullshit when I read it.
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
It sounds fishy to me too...I mean, God forbid if someone was attacked, my thoughts to her, but the whole election factor, the Obama supporter, the "B", it's just kind of, like you said, convenient??
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    Even fishier.

As I understand it, she's a McCain campaign worker.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
    I assume you are referring to this;

    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/10/23...

This smells worse than 3 day old fish. Someone craves a B on your face and you refuse medical treatment? Notice also the McCain campaign, according to the article, contacted the victim and later said because of privacy they would not mention the attack.
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
Had there been anything to it, the Republicans would have been all over it like white on rice. It would have sold better than Joe the Plumber.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
    you betcha!
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
This is so fake, Ray Charles could see it.
  • Gridlock · 1 year ago
Look at the picture.. why is the B carved in her face BACKWARDS? We got dyslexic muggers carving backwards letters into people's faces now?

also, the picture isn't flipped either, per the article:

"According to the police report, the officer confirmed that he "observed the wound on the right side of [her] face. "

Looks like she did it in a mirror.

    DUH.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Oh, that is funny! I never go to the Drudge site so I didn't see the picture. Duh! I think someone is going to have to explain making a false report to the police.
  • Older_Wiser · 1 year ago
If she gave him $60 at the ATM, there would be film. The story said McBush/Palin talked to her...I wish they would try to use this as campaign fodder because I'd like to see it backfire in their sorry racist faces.

This is sort of like the spray paint incident in MN where Bachmann & Coleman's houses were graffitied, and it turns out later that the spray painter also hit Klobuchar's house as well. An equal opportunity sort of guy...
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Doncha' just love those Republicans and their "jokes". Anybody else getting tired of the Republican sense of humor?
  • Laur · 1 year ago
I'm still waiting for evidence that the current batch of Republicans have that faculty.

    How nasty they are!
  • CPL · 1 year ago
No, and I would happily administer a bitch-slap to the comedian and ask them "How funny is THAT?"
  • lucky hussein · 1 year ago
lol... how evil... 'later told police' but she didn't tell her employees it was a joke
I'll bet Obama's lawyers will be all over this.
    .
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
This is a joke - just like the San Diego woman and her welfare bucks showing Obama and watermelon and the sock monkeys depicting Obama. They're not prejudice, just funny.
I guess we liberals lack the sense of humor of the conservatives. /snark
  • davidkc · 1 year ago
These GOPers certainly have the worst sense of humor I've ever seen. Every time they do something that is blatantly and offensively racist, they always have the same response: "It was just a joke." Well, joke this Ms. Jackson. She needs to be fired. NOW!
  • fostert · 1 year ago
"she intended it to be a joke"

Umm, then why am I not laughing?
  • Laur · 1 year ago
    That is incredibly inappropriate!
  • Older_Wiser · 1 year ago
I'm flummoxed, enraged, and yes, this POS should lose her job.

Of course, it's not surprising, considering that in the 1920s, Indiana had more KKK members in the state than any other (even in the south) in the history of the US. Of course, they try to make you believe it was just a "social movement."

Bet they think suicides are funny

  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
Just as long as the suicides are hanging from a tree and they are black.

If they don't fire that woman and immediately I'd have to assume her supervisors also are racist and shouldn't be handling something as sensitive as elections. Of course, the results would also be very suspect, probably overwhelmingly for McCain.

  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
Why did she wait until after hours to sneak around and put it on Obama supporter's desks if it were a joke? Sounds like harassment to me.
  • scottinsf · 1 year ago
    Exactly!

Hi Karol. Hope all is good in the fight against prop 8 out your way. Thank Dog we have folks like you out there in the central valley :-)
  • scytherius · 1 year ago
Is ANYONE left in the Republican Party except the insane?
  • butchcjg · 1 year ago
I guess Michelle Malkin even thinks this is fake!

Someone should do an experiment and put it on youtube: have your friend try to "attack" you and draw a B on your face. See how clean it comes out. Post the results.

Conveniently she posted on her blog via twitter that she was in the bad side of town. Uh huh.
  • butchcjg · 1 year ago
If I were to deface someone's property (or face?) it seems like I'd probably write an "O" ...NOT a "B"
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
The origins of the KKK are in Indiana. This person needs to be fired and she needs to be charged under hate crimes.
  • bumpkis · 1 year ago
Caller into Ed Schultz radio show today said she encountered a postal worker behind the counter who told her that voting early was a waste of her vote because they are going to find out Obama is not a US citizen...
  • CPL · 1 year ago
If she reports that postal worker, he/she will be toast, regardless of how long they've worked there. And the union won't be so quick to protect them, either.
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
A joke? I think the words "You're fired" would be comical in this case too. Since she has such an accute sense of humor, she'll probably get the joke while she's standing in the unemployment line. I know I'll be laughing.

Translation: "We're getting rid of her, and wait until the dust clears to bring her back."
  • CPL · 1 year ago
I hear this shyt all the damned time and then when bitches like this woman get caught, she wants to whine, "I was only joking.

Trust me, when she gets fired and someone REALLY enforces that "zero-tolerance" bullshyt discrimination policies that are supposed to be in every workplace, THE JOKE WILL BE ON HER.

I'm an EEO practitioner, and whenever I caught companies with employees doing that shyt, I gave them a clear-cut choice: (a) lose that multi-million dollar contract you have with XYZ government, or (b) "deal with" the perpetrator jeopardizing your business because he/she can't check their bigotry at the door.

Most smart companies choose (b). They "deal with" their employee, including disciplinary action up to and including TERMINATION from employment. First offenders feel the loss of a paycheck; repeat offenders lose their effing jobs.

Trust me, hit this heifer in the wallet and see how fast she becomes best friends with Al Sharpton.

Does Hitler know about this? I think he'd have some German curses for this woman! What's the next thing -- a young Jewish Hitler?
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Palin would be very insulted....SHE wanted to be the Hitler.....oh, and Eric Cartman.
  • CobaltBlue · 1 year ago
It’s now apparent to me that the people who form the deep, foundational base of the GOP are lagging very far behind in the evolutionary advancement of human societal affairs.

Unfortunately evolution on all fronts is extraordinarily slow, so we’ll have these types of antiquated people, along with all their impediments, with us for a long time.

But they’ll gradually fade away. In the mean time the people who comprise the GOP base should all be neutered.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
    Spot on, perfectly said.

When your President has let you down
When your Presidential nominee acts like a clown
When his VP goes to Saks for a gown
The polls all make the Republicans frown
Nothing left, you want to drown
Attack Obama, and get run out of town.
  • NMRon · 1 year ago
It's become absolutely clear that republicans cannot be trusted in any position that requires honesty and impartiality.

This election official needs to be sued for Malfeasance of office. Let's put a stop to all of this right now and make an example of her.
  • tomeg · 1 year ago
Seriously, what is wrong with these people???
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
I am guessing this woman does not have a PHD in civics. Hitler was a fascist dictator, the exact opposite direction of Obama on the political spectrum.......I'm just sayin'.....

    ...Give people enough rope.
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
Every day there is another example of the lunacy which has become the Republican Party. This Jackson woman is an absolute disgrace to Indiana, the Republican party and the entire country. Add her name to the list of right-wing nut jobs like michelle of Minn. and Blakeman of Republican strategist fame and the others who have crawled out of their holes during the McSame/Palin campaign.
