government is the problem not the solution...except now the market works and does not need regulation...except now the market will correct itself and does not need assistance from government...except now government regulations and safeguards actually damage the economy....except now people who get us into a mess and foul up again and again should not be allowed to repair what they ruined....except now this is the "ownership society" and if persons who make bad choices they should be held responsible and not helped by welfare....except now

Ok let me get this straight American tax payers are going to bailout a Swiss Bank? I assume the foreign banks all threatened to stop buying our T -bills if we didn't bail them out. But that would mean that we would not have the money we need to fight the WAR! Oh No! now is the time for the Democrats to grow a spine and call the Republican bluff. This is a Presidential Election year there is no way the GOP's America First types will back the idea that American tax payers should pay to bailout foreign banks. Heck I do not think our side would be cool with that at all if the Democrats fold. Time is on our side the longer this story goes on the more Americans get the time to find out the details. We need time.

it is the duty of each citizen to praticipate in government, as John McCains' economic guru Phil (dereglation) Gramm said "We are a nation of whiners, and all too lethargic to protest or even speak up, they have our number..............if you really care, make a toll free call to Congress, here's their number, 1-800-828-0498, and tell your "representative" that you are damn mad and aren't going to take it any more...YOU REFUSE TO PAY FOR THIS.

Overseas tax shelters to avoid paying US Taxes..............let's have a look see... time to pony up. I cannot believe we have to bail out the whole damn world...no one bent their arms to buy this junk. Oh and one last thing regarding CEO pay...too damn bad...titles mean nothing. You've done a lousy job, now quit.
