Two weeks after being convicted on federal charges for running a prostitution ring, "DC Madam" Deborah Jean Palfrey has committed suicide at a Florida home, according to several news reports.

Police in Tarpon Springs, Florida say the body was found in a shed near Palfrey's mother's home Thursday morning. There was a suicide note, but police did not disclose its contents.

Compare and contrast with bush I and the scanner:

And an NY Times analysis from 1992:

Then he grabbed a quart of milk, a light bulb and a bag of candy and ran them over an electronic scanner. The look of wonder flickered across his face again as he saw the item and price registered on the cash register screen.

"This is for checking out?" asked Mr. Bush. "I just took a tour through the exhibits here," he told the grocers later. "Amazed by some of the technology."

He thought he was in a museum?

I wonder if Hillary knew that was a coffee machine.

    OT:
Do you think the MSM can drag themselves away from the Primary death spiral gossip...to cover some you know...real news???

Cause ya know...Iraq is burning, our soliders are dying in record numbers again....but I guess it's not the DC madam "suicide" or who loves America more Primary coverage...so it's not worthy of coverage.

Twin blasts kill dozens in Iraq

Two suspected suicide attacks in Iraq's Diyala province have killed at least 30 people and wounded about 60 others, police and military officials say.

The bombers detonated explosive vests within minutes of each other in the town of Balad Ruz on Thursday, Major General Abdel Karim al-Rubaie, head of the provincial military command, said.

the suicide note is a red flag to any serious investigator that foul play was likely employed.

It's 7AM and somewhere your children are asleep and you can't get the %$&*ing coffee maker working to get yourself revved up again for another shitty day in America.

I bet you Barack knows how to do it. He just paid off his student loans, I don't imagine he's had anyone to get his cappucinos for him until recently. Oh, but wait, he's an elitist, I forgot.

I hate to defend Hillary about anything, but I know she isn't the only person who has trouble with machines. I don't have servants or personal assistants or whatever, but I still have trouble with vending machines and, in the days when they still had telephone booths in England, never could manage to figure out how to make a call on one. Yes, Hillary is unpleasant in many ways and lacks virtue in many more, but I truly don't see how confusion over a vending machine adds or subtracts anything to the mix., except possibly to the extent that we certainly don't want anyone in charge of the nuclear button who can't tell it from the take no action button. Well, on second thought, maybe the coffee machine confusion does suggest something important about Hillary and the presidency.
