And even better news, Obama has a one point lead in that state in those who have voted early!

Obama's "Win Percentage" at FiveThirtyEight is edging up -- higher than I've seen -- at 95.7%.

Looks like the election is going to the supreme court. Obama's paternal grandma says she was present at his birth in Kenya: Where's his birth certificate? Not trying to be a nusiance here, just askin........
Again, born to an American mother means citizenship. Same for McCain and Panama.
We all went over this a night or so ago.
Surely even you remember.

Umm, what you linked to didn't have a quote from grandma, it had an explicit statement saying that Barack was born in Hawaii. And Hawaii was a state of the United States of America at the time, and still is. Check the Constitution. If you are born in this country, you are a citizen. Period. End of discussion. This election surely will go to the Supreme Court, but not because of Obama's citizenship. It will go to the Supreme Court because the Republicans hate to lose and they have a lot of money.

McCain will not lose his home state. I don't think that has ever happened. There's a reason why: smart voters know that a president from your state will advance your state's interests. The fact that it's even close says a lot about how well McCain has represented his state's interests, but let's face it what other president will give Arizona a better deal? John will win Arizona, no matter how embarrassing the margin may be.

Obama was ahead by 4 points in Arizona 2 weeks ago. What's going on? Pollsters trying to "CYA"? If Obama wins Arizona, it would be a miracle. And, trust me, I have seen miracles; and don't totally discount BHO's chances. But, the polls just didn't make sense....

This poll looks like a big-time outlier to me. I don't believe it for a minute. Pollster.com has the real goods; Arizona's going for McCain, by a landslide, if those numbers hold.

I would have to agree. My residency is in Arizona (though I'm in Korea now) and I filled out my absentee vote two weeks ago.
Most of those old folks watch fox news religiously. My mother was telling me about the ACORN scandal just last week. I had to talk her down from that, but I doubt that she gets it. She thought it was the Chicago of her youth writ large and has been telling all her friends such.
Arizona also has an enormous Mormon population. So between Mormons, your normal stack of evangelical fundies, rednecks, a large number of military personnel (not so telling this time around, but in the past largely conservative), investors living in heat (again normally republican, but who knows these days) and the elderly I think it is safe to say that Arizona will go McCain.
If you look at the map, there is basically a Mormon belt in the Mountain states where they tip the vote to the right: Utah, Idaho, Arizona and Nevada and perhaps Western Wyoming and Colorado.

This could speak volumes. While AZ has a strong independent streak amongst both their Democrats and Republicans, I'd like to see the breakdown of age group. AZ is a huge retirement population and if McCain is losing elder voters, in his home state, then he's lost them everywhere but the reddest of the red states.

Arizonans have been voting since about October 1. That's when the absentee and early voting ballots get mailed out. Arizona also has lots and lots of old folks who prefer to vote at home. So I would expect the early voting to reflect the earlier polling numbers.
I voted two weeks ago and I can say with a fair degree of certainty, Obama got at least one vote in Arizona.

For the last two months, John “Reach Across the Aisle” McCain and Sarah “the Rogue” Palin have been accusing Barack Obama of a variety of unforgivable sins. He’s a socialist. He has terrorist affiliations. His background is suspect, as is his patriotism. He wants to tax and spend the country deeper into debt, and raise a “white flag” in Iraq. This list goes on and on. If McCain and Palin believe even half of the things on their list, how can they possibly give the standard unifying and gracious concession speech on the night of November 4th? How can Palin go from pitbull to poodle in a matter of hours without looking like a complete hypocrite? What can either of these candidates say that won’t come across as grotesquely self-serving. McCain will see it as his swan-song, where his primary objective will be to repair the damage he has done to his own honor and future ability to work in the Senate. Palin will, no doubt, see it as her opportunity to launch her future political aspirations and demonstrate her stunningly ignorant assumption that she is now the brightest star in the Republican Party. I’m sure she’s too self-absorbed and high on herself to realize that the Republican Party is going to ditch her faster than a Jamaican sprinter. John McCain, who has spent the last year telling the country that he has a record of being bi-partisan, is now going to have to work with the Senate Majority Leader and, in some ways, the Speaker of the House, whom he has spent the last two months ridiculing in his campaign. After slinging so much mud in the final weeks of their campaign, McCain and Palin have dug themselves into a deep and slippery hole. Watching them try to climb their way out of it on the night of November 4th is going to be better than an episode of “Survivor”.
