It is managed by hard-core Republicans, many of whom have worked in the Bush Admnistration, and it is funded by big GOP fundraisers. Many of its staffers have also worked for the RNC, conservative media outlets like the Weekly Standard, and Republican members of Congress and Senators, including John McCain himself.

It's foolish to dismantle the middle class since it's the middle class that buys the shoddy goods manufactued by those who would be Robber Baron Wealthy. Good luck keeping that façade running once there is no middle class to purchase what the industrialists mamufacture.

I live near New Smyrna Beach, Fl which is just south of Daytona Beach. I have a couple of friends that work for a boat builder there, for $12 an hour. Every boat they build goes to overseas buyers, ONLY overseas buyers. Not one boat, not one, stays in the States. It's been like that for several years, it didn't used to be like that. Another boat builder north of Daytona, in Flagler County, may be closing shop soon because they didn't court overseas buyers, and now have no work. Heartbreaking and scary as hell.
