The lazy, lying, corporate juggernaut infotainment NEWS has other things to talk about then this silly law breaking.... stuff like who smells better, Aqua Velva man, or Old Spicey? Why talk about substance when you can talk about how much John Edwards' hair cut cost, but never bring up how much any of the other candidate's hair cuts cost (and oh, by the way, doesn't Mitt's hair just look dreamy?). Lather, rinse, repeat ad nauseum for the uninformed, half brained American "news" viewers.

Judiciously studying reality again, Joe? May I remind you we are an empire now...
"The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."
PARIS (Reuters) - French President Nicolas Sarkozy called on Colombia's FARC guerrillas on Tuesday to release their hostage Ingrid Betancourt who he said was in close to death. "Release Ingrid Betancourt," he said in an address broadcast on French radio and television. http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/world/internatio...

Wow, a corrupt politician who breaks the law and laughs in our faces. That means he'll be a shoo-in for the GOP nomination.
They just love their crooks, liars, and traitors.

John McCain either WANTED to run his campaign legally and couldn't do it (he incompetent) or he doesn't care about doing it legally. Either way it says a lot about him.

If I typed it once on here, I've typed it 100 times: the CorporateMSM wants another stupid, clueless, straight, white, male (like Bush) so it can continue with the $tatu$ quo.
McCain is getting a pass and will continue to get a pass--all the way into the White House. They have the power and the money and the (ha!) 4th Estate is no friend of the people.

Military adventures are supposed to be McCain's strong suit but read this from Juan Cole:
"John McCain said he was surprised that Nuri al-Maliki would abruptly launch an operation against Basra. It seems to me that there are only two possibilities here.
Either McCain really did not know and did not anticipate the trouble in Basra, in which case he does not know much about Iraq and isn't better qualified to deal with it than anyone else.
Or, he and Cheney helped put al-Maliki up to the whole thing while he was there, and now is petrified that someone will hang the fiasco around his neck."

We need to come up with a response to McCain's obvious plan of attack -- that the FEC does not have a quorum to handle the request. Any ideas? We need to have the answer ready to hand to the media if they ever pick up the story.

the funniest thing is... weren't some of mccain's main platform topics 'ethics reform, campaign finance reform and lobbying reform?
hmm... haven't heard his stance on those topics as of late.
would be good points for Obama to get into with him. Of course, that's when Obama is FINALLY declared our nominee.

I don't know if you will see this, but in response to your comment about the youtube code. Just put the following at the end of almost any video and you get full video's in HD.
Yes, but the MSM only covers what the preachers of candidates say and do. .. er...or at least for one candidate.
Maybe our posts should be a listing of which media outlets have already, by their own actions (and inactions) endorsed McSame.

In 2005, Lieberman called the idea of creating private accounts "a very risky thing to do." But now, he appears willing to take that risk in order to help John McCain keep an indefinite U.S. military presence in Iraq. ----

Not sure but I think what happens is that if after a certain number of days, the FEC doesn't act on the complaint (and it won't) that a complaint can be filed in the regular court system. I think it's 120 days.
Will McCain have a secret Energy Task Force that the Supreme Court will allow to fuck us 10 ways to Sunday?
When do those 3 Republican Energy Reform Bills kick in?
When will Senator Rockefeller get us "PHASE II"?

They are reporting on MSNBC that Hillary is critical of Obama supporters for stating she should bow out. Howard Dean is ripping up Nora O'Donnell who is trying the rethug line on how kick ass McCain is and Dean will have none of it.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has made little secret that it has been routinely outspent by rival Barack Obama in the extended race for the Democratic presidential nomination and has been forced to curtail checks for some of its vendors and staff.
But stiffing your high school alma mater?
That’s apparently the case, according to federal campaign disclosure reports that show that among more than $8.7 million listed as debts, the Clinton campaign owed $3,161 to Maine South High School in Park Ridge for renting the school for an event, as well as for catering.
The woman is despicable. Her "scorched earth" mentality is going to cost the Dems big time if she doesn't give up this insane quest.

When I turned on the Teevee this afternoon, there was a reporter from the Moonie owned Washington Times poo-poo'ing Oabama's association with Pastor Wright to Andrea Mitchell. That pretty much sums up the state of journalism in the country today.

Did he actually take any public money? If not then he is probably in the clear even though he was certified to be granted public money. The thing is the comission can't make a ruling due to shortages, and as long as he only spends privately raised funds, they will have to allow him back out of the public system.
In recent days, Clinton has made an issue of calls from Obama backers or her to abandon the Democratic race. They've argued that Obama holds the lead in the delegate count and a protracted Democratic primary would damage the eventual nominee.
"Now, this is one of the most important elections we've ever had. There is so much at stake. But just as it's getting time to vote here in Pennsylvania, Senator Obama says he's getting tired of it. His supporters say they want it to end," Clinton said.
Supremo liar. No doubt about it; we have to give her that.

Lieberman Falsely Claims McCain Doesn’t Support Privatization Of Social Security:
In 2005, Lieberman called the idea of creating private accounts “a very risky thing to do.” But now, he appears willing to take that risk in order to help John McCain keep an indefinite U.S. military presence in Iraq.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton says she has something in common with legendary film boxer Rocky Balboa—she's not a quitter.
Recalling a famous scene on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art from the 1976 Oscar-winning film "Rocky," Clinton said that ending her presidential campaign now would be as if "Rocky Balboa had gotten halfway up those art museum steps and said, 'Well, I guess that's about far enough.'"
"Let me tell you something, when it comes to finishing a fight, Rocky and I have a lot in common. I never quit. I never give up. And neither do the American people," Clinton said in excerpts of prepared remarks to be given Tuesday to a meeting of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO.
Clinton warned that Democrats won't have an easy time against Republican nominee-in-waiting John McCain in the general, and implied that her rival for the nomination, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, may not be up to the task.
"The Republicans aren't going to give up without a fight," Clinton said. "And no matter how beautiful your rhetoric, the Republicans aren't going to turn off their attack machine—it doesn't have an off-switch."
Thanks you guys.

Clinton Likens Herself to 'Rocky'
