More about the Yule Goat
At first, I thought there could be some middle ground to keep Lieberman in the Caucus, even after all the crap that Lieberman has said about Obama and the Democrats. However, I think Lieberman will use his Chair as more of the same of leverage with the Obama Administration, and give more weight to former Chairwoman Susan Collins and other Republicans as their own clubhouse to lob red herrings, or give the Wingnuts tidbits to feed to their noise machine.
i think it is time to dump Lieberman to save the Obama Administration some headaches and stamp out some wildfires from Lieberman chaired hearings.
We made fun of Zell Miller, what I ask, is the difference between Zell Miller and Joe LIeberman---nothing.

I think one is supposed to have a penis... don't ask me which.

Chris Dodd Comes to Mind.
At first, I had second thoughts of kicking Lieberman out of the caucus, because in the Senate, one has to play nice in order to get anything done. (I was thinking of how Lincoln Chafee was treated in the Republican Caucus)
However, I am getting memories of Al D'Amato and his idiotic sub committee hearings on Whitewater. I think even though the Dems need Lieberman on many important issues like AGW, he is going to cause a huge amount of embarrassment besides pressure from the Republican to investigate the Obama Administration if he still is in the Democratc Caucus.
I think Lieberman is going to leave the caucus and join the Republican Caucus before Reid tells him to leave the Democratic Caucus. I wouldn't be surprise that the Obama Administration tells Senator Reid, (no longer Senator Majority Leader, but Administration Water Carrier) to get rid of Lieberman.
By the Way, Senator Lieberman, nice job in keeping Connecticut in the McCain Column!!!! (I sort of measure a politician's strength in how much influence they have on their state in the Presidential election)
Do the letters "F Y" ring a bell ?
I will be using that line a lot with Republicans and others like Lieberman who take a negative and bitter attitude in the coming days ahead.
