the republicans have a limited amount of tools in thier toolbox. by far, the one they go to the most, the fix-all, is PROJECTION.

No wonder even the fundies can't support that couple so they've been showing up here and elsewhere I noticed in support of Obama. But what was truly strange to me a couple of days ago, one showed up here and said all wild-eyed, which I can intuit, "Obama supports marriage as one man and one woman." On this blog! Like, "move over sodomites, we're going to support him now so y'all just need to move on." Can you believe that shit??

When, oh when, will the corporate media expose Daddy Hensley's ties to organized crime in the 40s and beyond?

It's like, from what I intuit, these hetero guys are like, I've got to very carefully although panicky squeeze my very important anal orifice very tight when I'm around gay guys lest I somehow be led to being poked and like it even on the internet. The temptation. Really strange.

George Carlin dead of heart failure at age 71.
  • Webster · 1 year ago
And I wonder how many hours/days MSNBC (and the rest of the MSM) will devote to the death of this comic genius? Will we get to go the funeral and everything? Will they promote his daughter to the level of a minor goddess?

My, my, my. Cindi McTart certainly has a checkered, lurid and tawdry past. Yet she enjoys pointing gnarled fingers at everyone else. How republicon of her!

OK, I'll quit goofing on the blog. I need to behave before John bans me...

Why isn't the press covering this? I found this by accident on snopes just last week and had never heard of it. I'll bet 90% of Americans have no idea.

And here's what pisses me off, if someone who wasn't white and rich and done what she did they would be doing a mandatory prison sentence. We need to press this story until the MSM gives it some attention. But maybe after Labor Day. This is far more damaging than something someone's preacher said. Although now that I think about it...has anyone gone through the sermons of the McCain's Baptist preacher in Arizona?
  • Nigel Elliott · 1 year ago
Press? What press? We only have pro-war neocons running propaganda machines for the Bush regime.

I'll certainly miss George Carlin a hell of a lot more than Tim Russert...and thanks for your comment, Webster! I've followed George for a long time...what a genius he was. But doesn't society hate to have itself poked?

Damn, I didn't know George had already had 3 other heart attacks.

Besides, Cindy McBush is the kind of woman other women love to hate...such a pretentious bullshit artist and daughter of privilege who hasn't even had to break a nail in her lifetime, much less bake a cookie...and that hair! And oh, that outfit! Somebody make her a sandwich!

They're about to attack Iran and murder them and there's nothing I can do. The media might report a blurb about it other the constant admistration press releases.

    I'm just going to be.

Also very disturbing photos of brutal beatings of opposition supporters.

Cindy McCain's stroke probably deserves more scrutiny. Strokes can be a result of drug abuse, especially in someone relatively young for having a stroke. Apparently she spent several months at the beach in California rehabbing. It all sounds very odd to me. When Obama said, "don't pick on my wife", I think it was a message to McCain -- you pick on my wife and your wife will be fair game.
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
I'm not going to comment on Cindy McCain's stroke, because I don't think it's fair game...but--the question remains: with the best possible health care available to her, why didn't Cindy McCain know she had high blood pressure beforehand and have it treated, if indeed that was the reason for the stroke?

Cindy had a stroke because she stopped taking her medication. She thought that eating properly and exercizing would also lower her blood pressure.

    Wow that's Mrs. McDruggie!

geez, I guess rehab works wonders - if you have money and don't have to do it!

To think, had she done rehab she might have met Amy Winehouse.
Oh wait, Mrs. McDruggie has too much money to meet poor low-lifes.
Oh wait, Amy has lots of money too. Her's is in music. Mrs. McDruggie's money is in beer.

Hmm, beer and drugs. Interesting ...
