AMERICAblog: John McCain is already getting angry

  • Slim Cognito · 1 year ago
dkmich -- Sorry to repeat your post. Great minds . . .

I cannot wait to see McCain go apeshit and lose it while cool and calm Obama stands there and just grins. Sounds like Kennedy vs Nixon in 1960. JFK made Dicky look like shit just by standing there. These ads shot forty years ago with McCain are a hoot. He's an old fart, kids.
  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
    Respectful smears.

    See?
  • Jim Olson · 1 year ago
Obama just needs to be calm, factual, accurate and spare. And NOT lose his cool at all, while he picks away at McCain's psyche. When McCain comes unglued, (and he will) Obama needs to just quietly stare at his podium or table or wherever until McCain is done slavering. Then, release a statement the next day simply expressing how unfortunate McCain's outburst(s) were the previous evening. That's all.
  • ZennButtKicker (tlhwraith) · 1 year ago
Fortunately, Obama has shown an almost pathological ability to keep his cool in public. My theory is that he must go home at night and curse up a storm, given all that is said about him, but he doesn't show it in public.
  • Jim Olson · 1 year ago
I don't know. My husbear is like that...calm, cool, collected all the time. He just has to spend some time to himself every day that I only interrupt if its important.
  • moreleesafer · 1 year ago
I was just discussing this with some friends the other day. We decided he is one of those who really lets loose at home with his family. My cousin said she could just see him dancing around the bedroom with Michelle wearing nothing but a tie and socks. Singing a Barry White song or something.
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
Haha...I agree. McCain is going to come unglued. Let's just hope the world doesn't start feeling sorry for the old fart.
  • dkmich · 1 year ago
Ah yes, Cindy. [The wife U.S. Republican John McCain callously left behind http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-10249... [Dig It! http://digg.com/politics/The_wife_John_McCain_c...

We need and deserve to know more about this sainted, suffering woman--who drives an "old" Mercedes, but only lives in ONE small house in shitty Virginia Beach (it's no Sedona, trust me). Is her alimony coming from his Navy pension? Did Cindy's money buy her good will?
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
Yo--I live in Virginia Beach and sorry but it's not shitty. Agreed it's not Sedona.
  • Slim Cognito · 1 year ago
Here's a good, (sad) article on the first Mrs. McCain.

How do we plaster this everywhere?
  • dkmich · 1 year ago
Go to the link and digg it. It is up at dailykos with the same link. That would help.
  • Bostonian_Queer_in_Dallas · 1 year ago
But of course the MSM corporate media will shit in their pants between now and November. Nothing about McCain or Cindy will get reported. But somehow we will see clips of people discussing the BLACK MAN over and over and over to remind voters that Obama is black. That he is still black. And will be black. And was black. And that black he is...ad nauseum.
  • ZennButtKicker (tlhwraith) · 1 year ago
    Hes black? Holy crappers!

I hear ya though, but even thats gonna get old pretty quick. Barring another Wright there's only so much race-baiting that can be done without looking real obvious.
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
Good point! This can be uses against the Republicans. It'll be so damn obvious.
  • bluestockton · 1 year ago
One thing's for sure: no matter how angry John gets, we'll never see Cindy looking angry. The Botox will prevent any frown lines.

Here are two nice sources on McCain to use when trolling righty-blogs:

Just keep calling him Bush. It's going to make him explode. We've already seen it bubbling under his skin.

It's amazing how little coverage there was when Harry Reid said (spoke speciically - it's on tape) of how John McCain does not have the temperament to be president in his endorsement of Obama last Friday.

Apart from being true, I think Reid was trying to bait McCain and also raise the subject for the media.

This is a very interesting video from a Ron Paul supporter, just smashing McCain on his stated positions on Iran, Iraq and National Security.( You will also find it on Jedreport.com.) McCain is a dangerous, deceitful person, with no moral groundings at all. Every rational person needs to do all they can to assure Obama wins in November.

It's just so disturbing, on so many levels, that McSame is even a contender. I say let operation push his buttons begin!
  • Bubbles · 1 year ago
Prediction: McCain will have a melt down. It will probably be over anger, but could be something other stupid thing he does.

Prediction II: McCain won't have a melt down because of a reaction to his opponent. McCain is a 'self check' - that means, self defeating. He will extinguish himself. Probably Obama could win if he did nothing but sit on the porch all summer and fall. McCain will take himself down and it will be something over McCain and possibly the media did, not as a reaction to Obama.

    I'm 80% sure on that.

    McCain: Big temper; Small intellect.
  • jimpharo · 1 year ago
For the 837th time, fighting back is just not going to cut it. We have to attack -- we don't have to smear and lie to do it, but we need to go on offense....Things like what his buddies in the Navy think of him, some of the choice comments from his Senate colleagues, some of the nasty things GWB said about him...

We need to go on the attack or else this thing will be much closer than any of us can imagine...
  • DCinDC · 1 year ago
Correct. Attack! Be on the offense! Bring up the questions that need answers first! Frame the issues first!

Does anyone have the video of Cindy McCain saying her husband did not want to run a dirty campaign, that he didn't like that kind of campaign? Or is she just as big a liar as he is?
  • AdrianBrody · 1 year ago
Jonathan Martin of Politico and Matthew Drudge deserve kudos for the inside stories they've revealed during this campaign season. I honestly believe that new media like Drudge and Politico are serving the people better and informing us in a truly objective manner versus the tired old corporate machines.

if McCain is in your town it's your duty to jump in front of a microphone and start reading passages from Cliff's book
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
"In reality there is only one candidate. Barack Obama. In November he will win or he will lose. John McCain is relevant only in so far as he is not Barack Obama. The Senator from Arizona is incapable of energizing his party, brings no new people to the polls, and has a personality that is best kept under wraps."

And, the above analysis is from non-other than Bay Buchannan. This is it foks, and it don't get any better than this.
  • DCinDC · 1 year ago
Obama Must change the image of John McCain maverick and clean politician. Far too often in the press this image is portrayed of John McCain. The truth of the matter is John McCain is neither. Obama must define McCain as a reckless man who for his own political benefit will say and do anything to get elected. Including go to war with Iran and stay in Iraq for 100 years. Obama should also connect the dots between the Keating Five and more recent McCain corruption deals done in Arizona. As of this moment far too many voters see McCain as this ideal image that he is not. Destroy the ideal image McCain hides behind and win the presidency.

notice how McTantrum's reponses to Obama challenging him on his facts is always...'we're tired of the same old negative politics'

remember when Obama said McTantrum has 'lost his bearings' meaning he's flip-flopping on the issues, the McTantrum campaign spun it into a personal attack, as if Obama was calling him senile?

    very Rovian.
i'm sure the Obama campaign will nip this crap in the bud.
  • Mike_H · 1 year ago
I will be pleasantly astonished if the media actually doesn't flip on Obama like I am fully expecting them to. I think it's still too soon to be sure, since I did expect there to be a "honeymoon period" after he locked up the Dem nomination, but if the media can stay relatively fair through June into July I may start to believe that Obama has a chance. But I'm still betting on the media backing McCain and turning on Obama. There's nothing our country likes better than building someone up so they can tear them down.
