    Outstanding!!

And his top foreign policy advisor used to lobby for the nation of Georgia.

Which gives a little added perspective to McCain's embarrassing performance yesterday, when he was running around like Chicken Little yelling "The Sky is Falling!"

Jed could do a whole ad on Vicki Iseman and PAX-TV (and still omit any sexual innuendo) and be more effective than the NYT was.

The problem with ALL Democratic campaigns/ads/attacks is tha they are ALWAYS retroactive rather than proactive. We are always responding rather than hitting first. Obama's "Celebrity" ad would have been great if it had been origninal but it loses something when done in response after the Republicans have been beating the celebrity drum for over a month now.

The same with this ad. It would have been much more effective had it not been IN RESPONSE to a meme already thought up and executed by the Republicans.

When these ads are done in response rather than as a first strike they really come off as "I know you are but what am I?"
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    Agree on the celebrity ad.

They should have just let that one go.

McCain's ad ended up making Obama look good anyway.

The Celebrity ad is/was racist and if McCain continues in airing such tripe, it WILL backfire on him at some point.

um, yes - vet this thing for out of context or misleading stuff and if none is found, run it

Watching these clips from the 90s and the present really does show that McCain has lost mental abilities over the years.

He was never bright, but he certainly didn't appear as befuddled as he does now.

But, but, but...he was captured and tortured for years....

The story of McCain's ttime in captivity has yet to be told. The military records have not been released. Why won't McCain release them or his full medical records?

OK. That was an awesome vid. Jed's best so far. Going off to Digg it.

    <stands and applauds Jed>

McCain is safely tucked away in a dark bunker somewhere drugged out of his mind. The corporations who run this country will not allow him to lose the election for them. They will wake him up a couple of times a day to feed him his talking points as the debates approach. Don't try to interview him because his phone has been cut off.

We are personalyy being affected by this. My husband is likely to be one of the 8,000 who will lose his job after being with the company 13 yrs. McCain came out and met with people last week. He seems to be saying the right political stuff and doing some damage control after he said the last time that there is probably nothing he can do. My husband said he looks realy old and physically frail. On the same day, he was invited to do part of an Obama commercial. Rumors are that Obama will be out here in Wilmington OH soon. Lots of bipartisan political action here in OH -everybody stands to lose a lot if this deal goes through. Whether or not any good comes out of all the talk and action is sill up in thhe air. I've heard that the US is putting some pressure on the German gov't to talk with Deutsche Post but I haven't confirmed that.
Another thing that many people don't consider are the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th order effects of this. Already, this community is seeing less restaurants, more vacancy signs on store buildings and even a horse shoer in the area says his business is down becaue people are either not shoeing their horses or they're shoeing less often. Ohio is in rough shape. Thanks to it being an amazingly red state, fraudulent voting issues at least in 2004 and all the rest of the mess that Bush has gotten us into. On the positive side, there are serious signs of a turn around here - there is the possibility of Ohio turning blue. Vic Wulsin has a good chance of beating Mean Jean Schmidt. I don't know how that horrible woman made it into office in the first place. Oh yeah, knee jerk red state.

What happened to Vickie Iseman? Why the fixation with ex-candidate Edwards while ignoring the adulterous Presidential candidate McCain? His experience with adultery is legendary yet it is ignored. Why?
