More about the Yule Goat
Ms. Palin's record in song...
Palin is a GP from Hodunken. Alaska. She was recruited to apply as head of surgery at the Mayo Clinic because she likes people. The interviewers ask her to remove a tumor from the head of a patient.
She drops the scalpel, looks at her interviewers, and states she wants to do a tap dance instead.
She does a great tap dance, and the interviewers all clap and marvel at her dancing ability.
Do they hire her? The Republican base would.
That's what Palin did last night. She tap danced around the questions.
The republican "base" has been conditioned over many years to respond to certain catch phrases, and like Pavlov's dog they either bark or roll over on cue... that's what you're seeing with their response to Palin....
They should get in contact with truthandhope.org and see if they want to buy TV time for it.
Article One of the United States Constitution
Section 3: Senate
Clause 4: Vice President as President of Senate; Voting Power
The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.
Article Two of the United States Constitution
Section 1: President and Vice President
Clause 6: Vacancy and Disability
In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.
To those out there in the tubes bloggin', ya know, also, when talking about the role of VP, he should have said Article II, while saying Article I was just fine.
