AMERICAblog: John McCain, who admits he knows nothing about economics, thinks the economy is going great!

That is PRICELESS: "We will never put America in this situation again". It was YOUR economic guru, Phil Gramm, targeted to be the next Treasury Secretary, who wrote the deregulation bill which led to the subprime mortgage crisis. What a joke.

According to Politico.com, he dropped this talking point froma follow-on speech later this morning. The campaign realized it had f'd up. Granholm and McCaskill came out firing with both barrels. Should be good for a 30-sec spot tomorrow, if Axelrod can take advantage. And then, maybe, we'll get the truth about the McCain-Gramm Siamese Twins out there...

Why is there no statement from Obama on the front page of the NYT about the meltdown of the economy?

The fundamentals of any economy are an educated and well-trained work force, a strong manufacturing base, a stable currency, and a healthy population.
These are all the things the Republicans have attacked and/or destroyed. The fundamentals of our economy are far from strong.
McCain is a bumbling idiot -- and without the circus freak VP candidate at his side, no one wants to hear him.
According to the news reports, he appeared without her at this campaign stop today and the place was nearly empty.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Republican presidential nominee John McCain held his first rally without running mate Sarah Palin today, and let's just say there were seats available.
The McCain "Road to Victory" rally was originally scheduled to be a pancake breakfast, but the campaign said there was such an outpouring of enthusiasm the event was shifted to the 15,000-seat Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.
The may not have been the best idea: There were almost no supporters in any of the cavernous arena's 24 upper-level seating sections, and only eight of the 21 sections downstairs held fans. Only four of those were filled, though some supporters crowded around the stage on the arena floor.
He doesn't know economics.....THAT'S WHY HE PICKED SARAH INSTEAD OF ROMNEY!!!
Now, when does Sarah take questions? When does she debate Romney on TV?

The Palin Family Auction to Help America! All on ebay. Todd's winning snow machine. A mooseburger lunch with Sarah, prepared by her private chef. Levi's sweaty jock strap. Bristol's pre-pregancy high fashion Wasilla JC Penney wardrobe. Willow's virginity.

It's obvious he hasn't seen Cindy's September statements from her broker yet.

McCain clarified his comments that the economy is strong by stating the funda, mentals of the US economy look good. This means I have 9-12 houses and I am fuckinfg rich so things are ok fundamentally.

That's what they did to people who received foreclosure notices.
Does Sarah Palin have a problem with DIVORCE as well as abortion?

To quote Sarah Know-nothing Palin, "Th-YANKS, but no Th-YANKS," McCain. We are not near as stupid as you look.
