I don't know why this is a mystery, John McCain has PTSD and first stage of Alzheimer.

    Agreed.

If John McCain went to Disneyland, he'd come back talking about the fantastic things the space program has accomplished, like being able to ride on a spaceship inside a mountain or take a trip to Mars, or the amazing giant mice they have walking around.

What part of, "Out of thouch" don't the Republicans get when it comes to McCain. They made a mistake with their presumed candidate and they're starting to get buyers remorse... He's no competition for Obama and the more McCain puffs and postures, the more ignorant he seems. D.

John McCain will continue to get a "free ride" on his less than accurate statements as long as we do not have a nominated candidate to point out his mind boggling inconsistencies.

RE McClellan's book in the news...I was just remembering how they used to hold Jesus prayers in the morning when Ashcroft was AG and how some aides were shocked because after they got up off their knees, someone on staff would say something like "we are gonna fuck them like they've never been fucked." This was on the blogs a few years ago. Then you hear McCain say this shit. Oh but right...they've got gay marriage again to focus on in the campaign, I forgot.

Bush's false motives and outright stupidity, along with John McCain's unflagging support, has paved the way for an alliance between Iran and Iraq. The country he supposedly wanted to liberate has decided that it's interests are best served by becoming allies with Iran rather than enemies. If as Bush and McCain steadfastly believe, Iraq is our most dangerous enemy, what does that make Iran's allies? Has Bush's Iraq invasion failed so miserably that it has in fact driven Iraq into the arms of Iran? The answer is clearly YES!

Al-Hayat reports in Arabic that Adil Abdul Mahdi, one of two Iraqi vice presidents, is in Tehran for a visit with President Mahmud Ahmadinejad. Abdul Mahdi, considered close to the Americans in Baghdad, is nevertheless also a leader of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, the leading political party that was founded in 1982 in Tehran for Iraqi expatriates by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

In Tehran, Abdul Mahdi spoke at a news conference with Ahmadinejad, saying he considered the Iranian president's recent trip to Baghdad "a turning point in the history of the relations between the two countries." He added, "The people and government of Iraq have long valued Iranian support for Iraq and its role as the path of their progress." He said that his visit to Iran is for the purpose of "discussions of economic issues and services, as well as political and security matters."

Gee, that's not how the US talks about Iran. Yet here is Iraq's elected Vice President, and he doesn't seem to agree with John McCain's characterization of Iran's role in Iraq.

For his part, Ahmadinejad said that the "enemies" are afraid that Iraq might turn into a base against global arrogance (i.e. Western imperialism). He said the Iraqi government and people have a bright future.
