If this was a SciFi channel horror movie, the investigating scientists would send in a team of archaeologists to excavate the tomb of Prescott Bush and determine whether a stake was driven into his heart.

If Bush thought that there were a chance of finding oil, he'd drill a hole right though the grave of his grandfather.

Way to go, Judge! Drilling is NOT the way to go. No more easy money for Big Business by ruining natural areas. Of course, Rethugs will always appeal to the general population, whose financial futures they've eroded to almost nothing, so they can not only corner the money for themselves, but everything else as well. And the uneducated, ignorant public, already paying more than double what they paid at the beginning of the #1 Criminal's first term, naively believe that drilling will bring down prices in their desperation to avoid going under.
I'm just afraid that next year is going to be far, far worse, and that the blame will be laid at the feet of Dems, of course. People have short memories, don't pay attention for the most part, and just swallow what the MSM puts out.
Too many rightwingers are still peddling the myth that we can live high on the hog forever under the current circumstances. They'll be the worst off when austerity really sets in--the real "whiners."

In the Repug Valhalla the skies would be paved too.
I just noticed how nostalgic the price of gas is in the pic.

As George said as he left the G8, "Good-by from the biggest polluter in the world." It isn't even about getting the oil. They've got lots of leases they haven't even drilled. It's plain and simple, the joy of vandalism and thuggery for these people.

Ever see "Bevis and Butthead" Try netflix on it sometime. They can be almost as stupid sometimes... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I can ride a bike for 95% of my "Getten there" needs. I guess the next thing that CA needs to do is make some type of "Bike Tax" as I suspect more and more people will be biking to get to were ever, that means there will be less gas tax moneys. And we all know that DemacRATS and really in CA can not do with spending less money. They will just find a way to make us poor bikers pay more of the load. The more that things change...

the junta gave tax credits to buy Hummers instead of hybrids and the media pretends the oil companies don't have leases for 68 million acres they refuse to drill on so they can keep prices high
