Funny thing about the FDA - I get their email "alerts" and believe me, they spend WAY more time "alerting" and recalling products with undeclared ingredients than they do massive scale recalls. The "alerts" about really dangerous shit is always WAY after the fact, and lacking significant detail when it does finally come down the pike. I guess they're too busy witchhunting dietary supplements to be concerned with tainted beef & lead toys.
