Well, I think he needs to educate people, and right now, even inteligent people who work in fields other than economics, just have no damn clue. Repeat and repeat if needed for the message to reach everyone, but don't try to program them, just inform.

Sadly my friends, the Dems won't use the almost infinite tools at their disposal for what should be a cake walk election. And no, it's not because their wimps, or stupid, or anything else that simple. It's because the dems and the repugs are the same party. Obama and McSame are two sides of the same coin. Pelosi is and Cheney work for the same people.
Organized fascism is strong in the US and there is ZERO chance that infinite money and infinite power will ever let the direction of this country be left up to the sheeple.
Elections are a charade designed to give the sheeple a false flag belief that they have a say, that they participate, that they can still steer destiny. it is a proven illusion. When the first act of this congress, elected with an agenda - to stop the war and stop cheney - was to take accountability for criminals 'off the table'.. well it couldn't have been more clear. The Military Industrial Complex OWNS this Government and no one will ever change that. Politics have indeed been a Psy-Op that has been used effectively to help us kill ourselves.

Excuse me. I don't know who Gregory Lyons is, but Pelosi and the congress elected to stop the war the illegal, immoral war, took impeachment off the table immediately and continued to give GW everything he wanted. Intelligent people can ask WHY?

But c'mon. there has to be some collusion at some level. maybe the destruction of the 4th amendment gave cheney his dirt on all elected people that provided the leverage to prevent any valid challenge. or, more likely, infinite money and infinite power of the global Military industrial /big pharma /fiat currency central banks do at this point own all candidates.because its pretty damn obvious that no one in DC represents their constituents. no one.

Sadly, you might be right, and I hate myself for saying that, because I always hope.
Perhaps Obama is not getting more traction because the MSM keeps harping on the attack ads and showing them over and over. Unless you are at an Obama campaign stop, it's not easy to find the content of his speeches and most Americans are not looking yet. Sadly, many people still get their information from the MSM and to get attention from them, you have to take shots at your opponent. Ideas and policy differences don't make the cut.

well said, luna... but think about it. people had their minds made up before this started. I mean I continue to get spam mail from family , idiots, etc.. with the whiole "Obama must be stopped" crap..hes a muslim...hes a manchurian candidate..etc etc... mind boggling becasue some of the people that have written that mindless dribble i used to believe had some intelligence.
Sheeple aren't interested in facts. they aren't interested in content. people are rascist, prejudiced, and will vote on thier gut more than any content will ever persuad them. the only people that even bother to listen to content ( like 5% of the pop i bet ) are people like you and me that actually care.

There are a lot of idiots out there, I won't deny it but the whole "obama is a muslim" thing is just an excuse some people are clinging to to justify not voting for a black man. It's those people who are not necessarily repugs that are making the race close. There are still many undecideds out there and content COULD be a factor if it actually got out there. Obama needs to run ads showing McCain saying his administration will be a "pro-life administration" among other things. So many women I've talked to still think he is pro-choice. Where they got that idea, I have no idea.

A long way towards putting out a better message would be if Obama would take the Democratic party by the horns and stop idiotic supporters like Willie Brown and Jennifer Palmieri going on Hardball and soft-bashing their own candidate for not being strong enough. Would ANY republican, let alone 2, go on national TV and say their candidate isn't attacking enough, or is getting his message jumbled? No, of course not. Democrats need to start supporting Obama by attacking themselves and if they have complaints about his campaign, to take it to the campaign rather than airing it out publicly.

we have a media that pretends McCain has 1 home and is on his first wife. Obama needs to flood the airwaves about McCain's lifestyle to force the bumpkins to talk about it on their cable news shows
