I don't know what the NRA-ists are talking about. Guns are not free. In fact, they're expensive and mostly useless. It'd be better to spend the money on gasoline for the RV and drive back to Ohio. Or wherever.

I do not understand the obsession with guns in this country. They are a substitute for that backwards idea of machismo, just like thinking war and bombs are the answer to everything. Guys who are obsessed with and living in a WWII fantasy and who are the armchair generals. Usually these are the guys with the scared little boy inside who always feel the need for outward, shallow symbols of their idea of manhood. blah.
