I'm trying to visualize Lanny Davis providing a "counterpoint" to attacks on Obama.... still trying...
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Lanny, bubbeleh, you meshugganeh fixer, you! We get all verklempt thinking about you being a kibbitzer on Fox News now. Maybe you can do editorials for that wonderful Richard Mellon Scaife guy too; he's a mensch for the Clintons now, too! Like that Rupert Murdoch: such a mensch, too.
  • Your_Uncle_Bastard · 1 year ago
What grown man goes willingly by "Lanny" anyway? WTF?
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Or Dusty. I know someone with that first name.
  • naschkatzehussein · 1 year ago
    Or Scooter.
  • kingmans_performance · 1 year ago
I suppose "Barry' would have been a better fit?
  • Deacon_Blues · 1 year ago
Seriously, what CAN she do about it? (I'm not defending her, just sayin')
  • davidkc · 1 year ago
I'm sure this is all part of Hillary's plan to bring down Obama, but it ain't gonna work.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
There were alot of Clinton campaign operatives on these blogs. I was the absolute first on the internet attacked by them and it was here. But regular Clinton supporters are wonderful people who've I've know for years and love. Those like Davis were so haywire in their attacks because they were looking for lucrative positions in that administration. I was surmising what was best for the country. Well, we see they've found other lucrative positions.
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
You're exactly right. Lanny Davis made a turn for the worse, and will use this new opportunity to continue
to lament the fact that Hillary was not the canidate of choice. Hillary is not 100% against Lanny Davis! How can she be? She embraced Fox news herself. No one has really seen her come forward since she was
forced by the DNC to embrace Obama's candidacy before the world.

She's waiting, watching, and inwardly hoping her supporters throw the campaign.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
good lord. what do they pay these people?

didn't i hear Huckabee's going to be fox noise talker too?
  • hardeknox · 1 year ago
It's the money. It heals the wounds of being talked over, insulted, lied about and spun.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
There were also Obama operatives here, that I inuited. And this was back when the McClurkin things was going on. They were all like confused and wanted to understand how upset were were. Not so with the Clinton campaign operative. They went straight for the jugular.

"overturning Roe vs Wade will help women reach their full potential"-Lanny Davis on Fox
  • Your_Uncle_Bastard · 1 year ago
Fuckin' tool!!!!! I hope he knows that cuts both ways: overturning Roe V. Wade will also help lots of MEN reach their potential as unwilling, unskilled and uninterested parents.

Rancid fuckstain on the sheets of humanity, that guy. is :-(
  • jimfromthefoothills · 1 year ago
    I hate lanny davis.
  • zavlin · 1 year ago
Lanny davis is finally where he belongs. Let this be a reminder to all where the clinton campaign really stood.
  • KerrynowCampau · 1 year ago
Bill appearing on Rush's supposed "show" told me all I needed to know about where they stood. This just confirms it.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Listen to Al Franken effectively bitch out Lanny on You Tube: "Franken v. Davis." (And thereby expose Davis as an unwitting tool of Bill Orally and Fox News).
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
It'll be Obama bashing time, and Hillary won't do a thing to stop it. It'll work in her favor....and then again, it won't!
  • DougStamate · 1 year ago
Just can't let go, can you? The primaries are over, Obama is the presumptive nominee, but you can't get past your CDS. Oh, well...
For what it's worth, any remarks Davis makes on the air will be his. Or Fox's. Why you would imagine Sen. Clinton...sorry, I forgot about the CDS.
If he wishes to attack Sen. Obama that is his prerogative. It will destroy any credibility he has left in the Democratic Party and do little, if any damage to Sen. Obama.
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
I don't think you're up for an open forum debate...idiot! If I were you, I'd find a hole and crawl in it.
or, you can make the mistake of responding.....idiot.

Follow an individual's thread before you shoot off at the mouth.
  • Bobby · 1 year ago
    Traitor! Shame on him!

And I hope someone kicks Bill Kristol in the balls. I loathe that smug little prick!
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
I was the first attacked on the blogs by the Clinton machine. Being a messenger has always been a perilous task but I've never shrank from it. I've always been way ahead, predicting and responding like before Iowa to their campaign. I see some things that are disturbing to me now.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Actually, I don't see past it. It just ends. I do see McShrub and Cindy. I'm just waiting. There's no linear sort of movement through it...nothing but maybe just murky grayness.

That's what I intuit. If you don't like it, then that's just what I see or don't see.

Res ipsa loquitur, indeed. The bottom feeders always manage to hang out together.

What else can a cheese dick wuss like Lanny do?
  • kingmans_performance · 1 year ago
i like the cheese dick insult.
  • Hawk · 1 year ago
Home to the 23%ters might as well fill up with their ilk, that way, we know where to find them.

Can we send Steny and Nancy over there too?
  • kingmans_performance · 1 year ago
I am sure all of Mr. Davis' comments will be Fair and Balanced

"Labor union officials and some liberal activists were seething Tuesday over Barack Obama's choice of centrist economist Jason Furman as the top economic advisor for the campaign. The critics say Furman, who was appointed to the post Monday, has overstated the potential benefits of globalization, Social Security private accounts and the low prices offered by Wal-Mart -- considered a corporate pariah by the labor movement."

Now was not Hillary criticized as being in Wal Marts hip pocket.

OT, but I spent a couple of hours with some technical support people from India this morning. I luv them. There are some tips when dealing with them. First, speak as precise as you can speak a word. I have a regional dialect of English that's hard for other English speakers to understand unless I, as best I can, precisely pronounce a word, especially when speaking in technical terms. Don't just talk to them like you would from your own region and then get annoyed if they don't understand. Carefully pronounce words with the "t's" and "d's" and "s's" and other consonants at the end and beginning.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
If you do that, then there's not alot of wait until you're finished dealing with the problem because of misunderstanding.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
And then when they've helped you, tell them they were "absolutely splendid." That way they know you weren't being rude and thinking they didn't understand English.

NOTE FROM JOHN: "Will top Hillary surrogate Lanny Davis be using his perch atop FOX News to sabotage Obama's candidacy? And if so, will Hillary do anything about it?"
    ************************************************************************************
Very good point. I've noticed that Carvell and Davis haven't said peep about helping Obama win the election. What type of Democrats are these two? We know Carvell is married to a republican and I wonder how far he strays from helping her out?! Until I see them get on board, the ball's in their court. We know Davis has sold out but I'm still waiting for James Carvell to open his mouth.
  • jwhit · 1 year ago
I doubt if he is going to help Obama at all. They use FAUX NEWS because they know they can get away with talking against Obama. Cafferty, Toobin, Brazille, etc will not let them get away with that shit on CNN Carvelle always says "I am going to write Obama a check" . I wonder if Obama got a check yet because the DNC indicated today that they were still $15M short for the convention and some Hillary supporters indicated that they were not going to donate any money towards it. Wasn't it Carville who said he would raise $20M for the re-votes in Florida and Michigan. Well, why doesn't he raise the money for the convention for the Democrats. NEO-CONS AND NEO-LIBS = RACISTS
  • Butch1 · 1 year ago
I agree. They are showing their true colours and will do what ever they can to drag Obama down and then say we all should have supported Clinton. They are old guard and this is a new day. They should shut up and step aside if they are not going to help. I'm a dreamer...
  • markthespark · 1 year ago
The point about Carville's non-"support" for Obama is a good one.

The fact is that the inner circle Clintonistas are just Bush-lite corporatists. Pro-War (Hillary's vote), pro-bankruptcy bill (again), on the side of big Pharma, etc. There are plenty of neocon "Democrats" who want to continue Bush's genocidal policies in the Middle East (wonder why Pelosi and Reid have INCREASED Iraq war funding?) and the likes of Davis, Carville & these other scum being given a pulpit at Faux News, CNN, etc. should not surprise any observant party
