Joe, Murdoch is in bed with China too. I think weakening America from endless wars is Murdoch's master plan to help China, then the regime return the favour and give him full control of their billion viewers for his media empire.

Iran and the United States have been engaged in secret "back channel" discussions for the past five years on Iran's nuclear programme and the broader relationship between the two sworn enemies, The Independent can reveal.

Literally.
He divorced his wife and married a Chinese woman of questionable repute to give him a leg up on the market, because the Chinese government was initially stopping him from expanding there.
(Not really surprising when you consider that he changed his citizenship earlier in his life because he was having trouble building an empire here.)
What I believe Geraldine Ferraro meant is that if you take a freshman senator from Illinois called 'Jerry Smith' and he says I'm going to run for president, would he start off with 90 percent of the black vote?'' Johnson said. ``And the answer is, probably not.''
''Geraldine Ferraro said it right,'' Johnson added. ``The problem is, Geraldine Ferraro is white. This campaign has such a hair-trigger on anything racial it is almost impossible for anybody to say anything.''
But Hillary had the majority of the black vote when the primaries started.
Are all media barons idiots?

The BET founder sold out to Viacom and now Hillary Clinton. Beside his "entertainment" channel harmed more people in his community than drugs and poor schools combined. Jealous? You, bet! Hillary more than likely promised him a cabinet position for selling out this time around. Now that Hillary is toast, he's bitter. LOL

Google "1953 Joint Paramilitary Coup" for the story of how we overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran because they planned to nationalize their oil industry.
Where do these Muslims get off acting like the oil under their countries somehow belongs to them?

What a ridiculous rant!
Yes, GE has done business in Iran. And the company continues to fulfill contractual obligations in regard to petroleum production, medical equipment, and infrastructure. And then of course, there is the humanitarian aid that GE provides.
But so what? America is NOT at war with Iran. And even if some Iranians are aiding Shiite anti-American forces in Iraq, does that mean that GE should cancel its contracts to the detriment of all Iranian people?
The Middle East will need stability after the war ends, and companies like GE do their part to provide that stability. GE is helping countries throughout the world in their efforts to be self-sustaining in the future. And yes, GE does profit from helping people, but there is nothing wrong with that . . . unless you happen to Bill O’Reilly, and you’re looking for something to bitch about.
Here is a typical O’Reilly absurdity:
“There are more than a few villain CEO's in this country, but Jeffrey Immelt could be the worst."
I can think of a far more villainous CEO . . . Rupert Murdoch, Bill O’Reilly’s employer and the owner of FOX News.
Whereas General Electric and Jeff Immelt look toward creating mutually beneficial relationships by developing and building the world we live in, Rupert Murdoch and Fox News seek their reward in tearing things apart.
Fox News is a direct competitor to GE-owned NBC, and as such, FOX misses no opportunity to disparage the competition. Murdoch henchmen like O’Reilly and Hannity espouse a so-called conservative point of view, but what they really do is appeal to the basest instincts of the audiences they exploit.
FOX knows how to whip up the kind of mob mentality that can lead to a lynching.
Murdoch has the power of demagogic and subservient media outlets behind him. Hannity and O’Reilly amount to little more than Murdoch’s paid prostitutes and lackeys. They work for Rupert Murdoch, and they say what Murdoch wants them to say.
I disagree with Mr. O’Reilly. While Jeff Immelt and General Electric bring good things to light, Rupert Murdoch and FOX News exploit and manipulate gullible audiences in a way that is detrimental to all of us.
And so, let us paraphrase O’Reilly’s misstatement to make it true:
“There are more than a few villain CEO’s in this country, and Rupert Murdoch is probably the worst.”

For once, I agree somewhat with Nigel. Look at the world thru Rupert's eyes. Politicians, Bankers, Corporations, all seek power in different ways. Rupert is/was a newspaper salesman at heart. His power is derived from ever increasing audiences whom he has some ability to mold with his slant on the news.

It's up to you, PA: Put Hillary out of her misery. And if you donated to her campaign and paid by credit card, dispute the charge. LOL
