More about the Yule Goat
Throw some money there.
Take it!
AZDems...rally!!!
54% of Arizona's voters are not currently supporting john mccain.
Dare we hope?
(As my name implies, I am from Arizona! I attended an Obama/Pederson rally at ASU in November '05. Altho already in favor of Obama - I was absolutely smitten by him at this rally. He truly had an aura about him. Deeply loving him ever since!)
Obama should focus on OH, MO, FL, NC and maybe GA.
FELLOW ARIZONANS UNITE FOR OBAMA.
For this reason, it must happen.
McCain's up for reelection in 2010. Conveniently term-limited out in 2010 is Two-term Governor Janet Napolitano, a far more popular figure in Arizona than McCain is. She stands a good chance of beating him.
There was an article in the Arizona Capital Times yesterday that quoted an unnamed GOoPer strategist in Arizona as saying that, based on what he is seeing on the ground, he believes McCain will lose his home state.
The GOP registration advantage in the state has been steadily declining since early 2005.
The key is Maricopa County. It contains the vast majority of the state's population. The old conventional wisdom for Democrats in statewide races was "tie in Maricopa County (Phoenix metro area, win in Pima County (Tucson)." As Maricopa County has grown, however, this holds less and less true, and I suspect rural voters will go for McCain. If Obama can hold down McCain's edge in Maricopa County, he can win. If he wins it outright, McCain is toast. If he loses Maricopa County, McCain can hold on.
I love it!!!!
